Deadline for event participation will be whenever I get around to tally the effects, probably a couple of days, probably. I'm mostly setting the pace based on the progress with the tribunal, once that's sorted, odds are that I'll wrap up as fast as I can, and roll out the phase 2 stuff peacemeal.
Also added houserules for reckless/cautious attacks, vicious weapons, defeat consequences and added first blood mechanics. These won't apply to any ongoing scenes. Plus added Landed and Regent as things that let's you qualify for lordly chivalry with status 4.

Since the tribunal *might* end up in trial by combat and I'd really like to close that event ASAP, PC's that would be interested in standing (for or against Abelar) should give out a shout, ideally we'd want PC's involved, but timing considerations may necessitate NPC vs NPC. We can probably do a PC vs NPC setup if the player believes they are able to resolve the fight quickly, with a preference for a pro-Abelar PC vs anti-abelar NPC.

Phase 2 Will start rolling out shortly (some flavor texts needs to be written, and I will need to establish a rough chronology of events). I will probably also elect to release various stuff in batches. This time around, what likely will take time to resolve is that we're having a melee at Whitewalls, which will be preceded by a joust.
From here on out, what I will try to do with NPC participation in events is that I will mostly only initiate that if one of these conditions are met: -The event mechanics allows the NPC to achieve something that fits with his scripted agenda. -I feel like featuring the NPC. -Players wants to see that NPC featured.
And I may decide to have the NPC show up and not roll at all. Most of the Phase 2 events have now written in guidelines for how NPC involvement works, if perhaps mostly for my own benefit.
Various changes to house rules that are now going into effect:
Self-Control has been introduced as a replacement for all drawbacks requiring will tests, the method for calculating TN's is provided at the top of the drawbacks thread. Affected players should Copy the part of their sheets dealing with drawbacks, update it and make a note somewhere of what the new TN is.
I am suspending Berserker until further notice, characters who have selected it may treat it as tough (ignoring requirements) or swap it out with something else.
Bastard Sword tweaked (mounted removed, Damage is now Athletics+2)
Adaptable tweaked (Powerful or +1 Damage, whichever is stronger)
Mounted combat: +AH to Fighting now only applies to lance charges.

I think I'll let it go a couple days past Easter (which in my head ends on Tuesday, at least the holiday does) before moving ahead with Vying for favor and beginning to put together the Whitewalls jousting matches, those still AFK by then will have to play catch up.
Tragedy I'm willing to hold off on for a while longer given that the anticipated arrivals there are VIP's.
There's also some other stuff for Phase 2 which I'll be releasing later on, The Whitewalls Warfare playtest event will be released once it's done. Queen of Love and Beauty ought to be finished, but might as well hold that one off until we're getting close to the joust's final. Feast of Champions might likewise be delayed until we have our champions.
I'm also sort of considering Phase 2 as a "two-chapter" thing, so I'll likely hold off on the events happening after Whitewalls until after the stuff before (at least duels and jousting) have played out. Lysette's Wedding probably getting posted once I've written up the fluff text.

Whitewalls matches should be up now, also updated the base mechanics text on how things like fatigue and BoA interact with the pacing of rolls being made.

I updated the character records threads with a tracker of the public blood/fire allegiance, let me know if you think it might be wrong, I mostly went through the almanac and certain events to find changes in perception.
In short, the public allegiance is basically which way other people thinks you are leaning, having nothing to do with your private opinions.

Officially rolled out new version of warfare rules, will give it a playtest in phase 2.5, the real test will be phase 3. Assuming I manage to create stuff for phase 3. On that account, the PC's not inclined to play the part of knights taking sides in open warfare unsanctioned by the crown and rather hang back in the Riverlands might want to let me know and consider what they'd like to do and where they might like to go because things will be reasonably quiet in The Reach with all the noisy knights going elsewhere for their fun and games.
Also did a head-start on the melee, scene 1 doesn't require teams and such to be formed yet, hopefully we can get both scenes 0 and 1 sorted before we get the joust finished up and can roll into scene 2.
The other Phase 2.5 stuff will probably roll out piecemeal, I've got the mechanics down (aside from the customary mistakes and ambiguities no doubt), but needs some IC texts, too.

Also, officially bringing in the tweaks to aim and Reckless/Cautious in time for the first melee scene.

Edging towards Phase 2.5, will likely engage narrator override on round 1 of the melee and maybe jousting finals if it looks like it's needed to get everything ready to move on.
Rolling out a few of the changes being floated about: -Show-Off tweak. -Anointed (requirements only). -True Knight. -Wealthy. -High Station -Proper Lady. -Grabbing. -Smash Object TN's. -Shattering (effect on Smash Object and defenses of superior/extraordinary equipment against it).
Also posting Healing/Poison rules once I can find them, will probably clean up "various house rules" and maybe spin out the combat stuff in it's own thread, but there wouldn't be much left if I did.

Wrapping up events, so standard request as always is to hold off on posting notifications for updating your records until I've gone through all of them (Whitewalls joust is scheduled for last).
The fewer posts I need to deal with, the happier I'll be.

Also, a countermand to earlier instructions. Fire/Blood points now do need to be reported in character records thread, even if the counter as set up there is for in-chronicle purposes. Turns out I need to keep a tally of the points that are awarded to make sure I get it right.

All events should now have been processed.
So instructions, I want a minimum of posts to deal with, so: 1. One player from each house should tally up influence gains and post that in the house resources thread. Plus special rewards from Four Funerals to power rolls. 2. Glory, Chivalry/Virtue and Fire/Blood should be tallied up in a single post to your character records thread. (The old Reward threads are no longer in use by me for this purpose). 3. Disposition gains (minus those the summary post notes as being tallied up all at once or accounted for, negative disposition changes I always update without prodding) is to be reported in your OOC-thread, it should also note any caps on how much disposition may be gained in the event in question.
In all cases, when reporting rewards, list them by event and link to the post by me where they were issued, the post, not the thread. It is helpful to sum everything up in the end. I update the OP's of house resources and character records with a list of things that have already been accounted for, so if it is listed there already, you should leave it out.
If something is unclear about the procedure, please use the Q&A in game discussion to ask (hopefully so that others can answer instead of me, but at least I only need to answer things once).

House Rule Change-log, second batch:
Players with sheets directly affected by these alterations (will be receiving messages shortly) can as always change if they do not like the new versions. Players who would really like to pick up one of the new shiny variants can ask. Will hold off events (within reason) until affected players have decided, which probably is the time limit for others to request changes to go into effect at this time (otherwise they must use their old sheets for scenes and events already posted).
Benefits: -Courteous has now been changed considerably. -Stone-Faced, which does most of what the old courteous did has been added. -Perceptive has been added. -Authority has been altered. -Graceful has been tweaked. -Cautious Diplomat has been removed.
Drawbacks: -Envious added.
Base Mechanics: -Updated procedure for things like BoA and changing jousting techniques if one wants to make multiple rolls at once for expedience but shouldn't know the result of later rolls before making the decision.
Intrigue: -Start of intrigue free actions have been changed. -Disposition table has been changed. -Shield of Reputation and Consider actions have been changed.
Combat Houserules have been lifted out of the Various House Rules Thread, further adjustments to the structuring of House Rules may be forthcoming later. The Thread for Combat House Rules also requires further cleanup. -Knockdown updated. -Various actions now have associated specialty ranks. -Grapple updated. -First Blood Conditios updated. -Milk of the Poppy rules now removed from this section (see healing and poisons), it's new effects (possibility of a -1 to all tests) does not apply to Whitewalls events, but will be in effect in the future.
Chivalry/Virtue: -Slashed provision that lordly chivalry only is reduced by half the normal amount.
Fire and Blood: -Now allowing personal points to be spent on marriages, slightly changed the conditions for securing marriage. Notably, people should ask if option so and so is available before trying to spend points on them.

I just realized that it's much better for book-keeping if the character records thread is used for reporting disposition changes, so if you haven't reported those yet, put them there instead.

Corrected oversight on missing limitations on bringing people together, crazy results might be possible otherwise.
