I tweaked coordinate some, the change officially kicks in on day 8.
Also, due to effects in a certain event coming up on day 8, narrator puppeteering will take place for PC's involved in any unresolved jousts (but there's still a week to go).
Also tweaked Lord Willum's little mini-event, anyone wanting to do awareness rolls should do so in the next few days, success may trigger options that if taken could change what's scheduled to go into the day 8 rumor mill and affect certain elements in the story, nothing earth-shattering, but could be fun to play out, it's on a one week deadline, however.
Thread is also open for anyone wanting to engage in banter with a boisterous young lord that I feel like giving a bit of time in the spotlight to see if I can't have a bit of fun with that character.
For those liking to dig after rumors, the general rumor grab back is starting to get exceedingly spent, I don't think I have added anything to it since day 3 or thereabouts, I tossed a lot of tidbits, a fair amount of hooks and hints as to what NPC's might be up to and some red herrings into it before the start of the game, but the list is exceedingly becoming worn out. I've mostly stopped adding from it to the Almanac posts because when I roll the dices for random stuff, I mostly get things that have either been used or aren't relevant or interesting anymore.
I'm toying with the idea of making a new list, but until I might find the time and inspiration, there probably isn't much point in digging around for what's left in it. Far more interesting stuff to be had out of the stuff that's come to the surface right now. I could always crack open the dices, but I'm beginning to lose track of which rumors have already been discovered by whom, what's gone into the almanac and what's already revealed through play. I know there's at least one diamond in there that certain PC's would love to learn, but the other 100 items on the list are mostly lumps of coal.
Tweaked a little bit on the dancing event (costume effects now stronger, and also offering an actual choice between daring and audacious if one wants it for status/charm).
And the formalized seduction thing is not to be read as necessarily doing a "come hither", although it is about catching the eye of the strapping young men.
Also as a general rule, when I dole out disposition increases, it might be a good idea to track them (and document where you get them), it happens every now and then that I miss updating the spreadsheet where I do my book-keeping.
The rumor-grab bag is operational again, but 3/4 of the balls you could pull out of the bowl will have a blank note inside i.e. your character learns something that isn't actionable.
I'll be away Thursday to Sunday, although it's possible I might be able to post some stuff, which means that day 9 might be delayed and day 10 change pushed back to accommodate.
Day 10 is here, I may be starting the melee early because experience suggests that it is likely to take time, but will probably wait out duels and such that may result in injuries.
During the melee, If a PC is taking more than 24h to post their actions and rolls when it's their turn to do so, I'll go in and do it for them, likely doing whatever crosses my mind first. Will be possible to give the reigns to another player if you know that you will be absent.
