And we're off to day 3.
Should be less hectic than day 2 (for me at least).
I am very likely to slam down hard on invalid use of orokos from now on. As in, not putting what should be in the description in the rolls. Newcomers might get one free pass, the rest of you, not so much.

Also added something about what it takes to join the three NPC lords that are forming separate parties.
There's other NPC's out with their own parties, but those are the ones, off the top of my mind, that are the most interesting.

Error correction: Fixed issue in Jolly Mood about gaining of bonuses for making multiple tests in games of skill. If this would change choices you've already done, let me know and we'll figure it out.

I'll be AFK this weekend, so at some point I'll go poof and won't be around again before Monday.

I'm hoping to get the day 4 stuff rolled out this evening, still a bit of rumors to do and events to proofread, but day 4 events should be easy on the digestion, main thing that will happen is the jousting. I tinkered a bit with both the rules and the specific format at this tourney, mostly adding a few options for DP usage.
PC's should tally up the rewards they gained during the day and give me a nice clean summary of it so that I can update the relevant threads for that. Same goes for influence accumulated to a house, but someone compile it all into one post please.
Also, since there's a limit of one Fire/Blood action per house per day, anyone wanting to make one of those should tell other PC's in their house that they so do, so that people doesn't trip over each other. Note that members of a house gets one action for fire and one for blood, in case PC's disagree on direction or wants to play on both sides.
For anyone not having done this before, each jousting match will have it's own thread, there's enough veterans of earlier games that I imagine there'll be a couple up very quickly to show how it's done.

I *think* I am caught up with all the day 3 stuff now.
Anyone wanting to tamper with NPC on NPC jousts should signal so before the weekend, the short format NPC vs NPC matches will generally be resolved by me rolling a d100 and consulting a table, I might be amenable to lift some of them out in thread format on demand.

Tinkered some with the jousting format. A draw (in the 3 match short standard which everyone not in special duels are getting in the first three rounds) is one with equal amounts of broken lances and less than 3 in difference of DoS, if one jouster gains 3+ DoS more than his opponent, he's awarded the victory in the draw. Since round one is already under way, PC's that managed to break all three lances and stay in the saddle can have it be counted as a standard draw instead if they wish (no ransom, they still get to proceed).

With Blood and Fire scores surging much faster than I anticipated, a few adjustments were made to the Fire and Blood Rules just now:
In sum, changes are as follows: 1. Each character can now do one action per day (as opposed to one per house), two for those wanting to do work both sides. And people can forego their attempts of the day in order to assist/co-ordinate. 2. From day 5, each DoS scored counts as two DoS, from day 9 it counts as three. (DoS gained through non-rumor actions will not be affected, but the number granted may increase).

Rolled out the second round of match-ups, since day 5 will have two rounds I'm hoping we can wrap up round 2 by next weekend. Also will delay any duels because of challenges and such to round 3. We'll have several by the looks of it.

The how to guide of reporting rewards: Tally up chivalry, glory and fire/blood points/DoS and report them in your reward thread. Influence should be summed up by the PC's in each house an reported in the house resources thread. Coin and equipment I generally expect you to keep track of by yourself.

Yeah, also should mention that dispositions I track in a spreadsheet which I update the moment I assign those awards, but always helpful to bring that up when encountering NPC's.
Day 5 is underway, I'm pretty sure that it will now be up to you guys to pack more drama into a single day than it looks like fate and player agency and narrator plans managed to conspire to bring to a head right about now. Though I'm not all out of "Oh Shit!" moments.
Tomorrow it's back to full-time student life, and I'll be needing to prioritize that, which probably will affect my activity levels. AKA poor timing. Some of the plotlines bubbling to the surface may warrant an extension of day 5. Though for pacing purposes, we probably can afford to let some of the fun stay unresolved until day 6.

I also tweaked the Brutal technique for jousting to now do +5 damage/DoS, which now makes it a mathematically favored option for winning jousts by dealing injuries. But expect to face Blackfyre or Breakspear in the next round if you use it in the joust. PC's (which includes a certain mystery knight NPC) gains a free pass for not going noble in round 1, Walgrave Oakheart? Not so much. Anyone not doing noble or show-off is going to then face opponents that can handle it (so Endurance and AH at 4 typically, but not necessarily a big shot with fighting 5 and stuff).

So, putting a system to rumors:
When people are doing rumor actions which: a) Gets DoS towards fire/blood b) Puts a rumor into the almanac for the next day
Starting day 5 (including anything already done and reported in various OOC threads), I want that to be reported (with link to IC post) in a thread of it's own titled "rumors". New post when there's new activity (multiple new things can be bundled into one). The applicable rumor (if applicable) to go into the almanac should be posted with the link.
Just so that I won't miss out on those things.

There'll be a delay in day 6 coming around, should be before the end of the weekend, so I'll be pushing the schedule for day 7 to the 23rd. Hopefully we can get back to the regular pacing, but will adjust if needed.
