Is Blackfyre properly addressed as 'Lord' or 'Ser'? Also, should be called by Waters or Blackfyre?
House Blackfyre was founded (with land and rights to raise a castle given by King Daeron) when he wed Rohanne of Tyrosh, which I believe was in 184. The wiki lists House Blackfyre as a noble house, but not a knightly house (unlike for instance House Brune of Brownhollow, which is listed as both).
However, in various places in OOC I note him being listed as 'Ser Daemon Waters'.

Technically, he's a landed knight. You could call him Lord Daemon if you wanted, but even his supporters tends to go with Ser because they want to emphasize his qualities as a knight.
Also says Ser Daemon in the cast of thousands thread where the actual Lords are noted as such. And pretty much all the NPC's have been using ser when that would be wrong if was a lord. So way too late to retcon that now.

Fair enough! I'll go with 'Ser' then.

The Steel and Ribbons thread is for NPC' right? That doesn't preclude someone from trying to also court a PC as well?

I would imagine not. It's just giving a framework for interacting with NPCs.

You can certainly designate a PC, the main thing is that to get any rewards you'll have to succeed on the test(s) in the event, and those TN's are partially determined by the quality of lady sought.
The trickiness with selecting a PC is that there's a player behind the wheel deciding on favor-giving, but that's partly why the smooth recovery fallback is in place. Lysette for example is definitely going to have a few NPC's to pick from that other NPC's probably would pick over most PC's any day of the week, plus a few PC's the way I read things.

greatbastards.boards.net/post/1973/threadWould dancing be unknightly, or would this be something normal for a married knight like Ser Donnel to attend? It just seemed a bit illicit with the seductive possibilities!

It's only illicit if it's seductive, and it's only seductive if you want it to be. Courtly dancing is a standard part of a noble's education.

You okay there, Septon? Got something stuck in your throat? Or do you just want something stuck in your throat?

Perfectly normal and acceptable to partake in dancing, they did that sort of thing in the books during Sansa's wedding for example.
Stealing away for other stuff...not so much.

For events on a given day that would give rewards (such as chivalry) upon success, are we assuming that they don't effect other events that day, since we're treating them as concurrent?

Rewards received at the end of the day when the event is summed up.
