There might be a slight delay to the day change depending on Daeron's choices in the Willum thread, ideally we can resolve that today. Also writing up a little event-style thing that happens all over the place, it features Butterbumps, Mya Rivers, Lord Eldon, Bryce Bridges, entertaining to write, might be taking requests for NPC cameo appearances. Hooray, Butterbumps! I vote for: - Alicent Yronwood, as she has featured prominently - Janna Hightower, as it might be a low maintenance way to learn more about the young woman whose favour Roland bears - Ser Aubrey Ambrose - seems intriguing - Any Cordwayners/Ser Normyn Flowers, albeit my famiyl has featured a lot already.

Bryce Bridges is actually Butterlumps in disguise, I knew it!

So much slander of Ashara... not surprising. Definitely going to make follow-up scenes interesting... and interesting is good!
Also, I wrote that letter to be read by Shiera and others. I mean, not intending it to be, but well aware that it might be. There's nothing in there I'm worried about. If anything, I'm (OOC) looking forward to seeing how Shiera misinterprets the mention of Ser Roland. She knows that Donnel tried to get Balon into the Companions, maybe she'll think that he's trying to get Roland to take Vortimer as a squire.

Soo, since Ser Daeron decided to confront the 'builder' rather than his hired goons (not criticising the choice by any means, long-term it's probably the best choice to actually find the source), anyone want to place bets on who'll be found dead in the morning?
Lady Alicent would be the obvious choice, but I'm sure there are other possibilities.

You can spend a destiny point if you think Alicent is dead when day 8 comes around, if she is, you get to use it three more times before the end of the tourney.
Other odds provided by request.

Decent chance that Daeron will be found gutted in a dark alley too. He's in waaayyy over his head on this.

At least Daeron would have DP to burn.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you to learn that wandering off has consequences. Look forward to Roland realising he's in Westeros and not an Arthurian Romance (read: swapping Romantic for another benefit in between stories. Will be a fun narrative change as the scales fall from his eyes).

By my recollection, didn't Arthur die because some idiot knight drew his sword in reaction to some rodent or something and then they all killed each other?

Used his sword to kill a snake, I believe, but otherwise yes.

Used his sword to kill a snake, I believe, but otherwise yes. So Balon killing Ser Walton Wyl (house emblem: a snake) sets us off nicely...

I'm thinking Karl Willum, given where the hooded fellow was drinking. Also some history between Aladale Levalle and Kyra Orme, whose (young) daughter is betrothed to Lord Karl.
Also, Simon Tarly was riding with Alena's favor (hoping to get under her skirts), and just *happens* to be there, as Alena flirts heavily with Lord Karl instead... I don't doubt that is part of the reason for his sour mood.
Unsure what the motive would be, though.
By my recollection, didn't Arthur die because some idiot knight drew his sword in reaction to some rodent or something and then they all killed each other? Well, that's what prevented the temporary peace, at least. even then it was a false peace to buy time for Lancelot to return from France to help Arthur defeat Mordred... so not really negotiating in good faith anyway.

Also, Daeron choosing as he did means that the other thing also happens. Meaning we can proceed to day 8. Nothing foreboding in this staement.
