Lords Tarbeck and Crakehall clashes, the former long suspected of employing dirty tricks, but he does seem to win fairly to progress to the final 8 as Lord Bryce's aim on the fourth tilt is utterly horrible. Ser Tyman Crakehall and Ser Loren Lannister gives the crowd 8 broken lances each before the heir of the host's aim fails him just as they were about to repeat the fabled feat of Breakspear and Blackfyre. Ser Tyman should be thankful that his helm and the roar of the crowds conceals the flaring temper that has given him his moniker.

Two passes is what it takes for The Red Lion to overcome Ser Imry Levalle, fools might hold the belief that the Levalle knight had no business even this far into the tourney, some, more clever men among them, suspect that Ser Robb was set up to possibly fail against such a loathed name whose misdeeds are known far beyond The Mander. More likely, the Crakehalls simply wanted no Levalle to pass any further, although failing at such a plot only to get rid of the only Blackfyre supporter among the favorites may very well be an outcome they would have enjoyed. Ser Aemon acquits himself well against Ser Titus, but the latter is a slightly better jouster and wins after two tilts, though the result is no surprise, it was merely a little bit of luck that prevented a longer match that maybe could have swung the other way. Ser Lyonel Costayne gives no respect at all to the supposed greater skill of Lord Caron, or -perhaps- thinks himself the inevitable victor. And the match does not fail to deliver excitement, 14 pairs of lances are left broken in their wake until Ser Lyonel's aim finally fails him to accolades and ovations from the stands at such a bold performance and excellent horsemanship to back it up on his part. If Ser Vardis had not yet impressed enough against Black Rennifer, his match against Fireball must surely convince any remaining doubters of his quality, matching the knight considered the slight favorite for ten tilts, and the crowds does so love an underdog. Sounds of disappointment ripples through the crowd as he finally runs out of balance on the tenth tilt, but only for the brief moment before he is joined by his opponent in lying sprawled in the mud to cheers and ovations. Though matching Fireball himself for 10 tilts, on foot with swords, Ser Vardis is outmatched and he knows it, but steels himself for the inevitable and elects for a bastard sword in two hands to perhaps even the odds, or maybe just introduce the chance of chaos which favors the underdog. But Ser Quentyn is patient and waits out Ser Vardis slow retreat that might have goaded a younger man into charging recklessly, instead he closes the distance calmly and collected, and immediatly puts his opponent on the back foot, never overextending, never giving an opening, merely controlling the fight. Ser Vardis is valiant, resilient and holds on far longer than many others would in his position, but ultimately he is forced to yield to the superior swordsman.

Round of 8, Crakehall: Axel Tarbeck Loren Lannister Roland Cordwayner Marq Durwell Robyn Starkwood - Sebaston Rowan Damon Lannister Roland Crakehall Robb Reyne
Round of 8, Nightsong: Aerion Baratheon Roland Redwyne Titus Blackbriar Willem Starling Pearse Caron Gormon Peake Quentyn Ball Daeron Wildfyre
So for drawing of straws, first one rolls 1d7 goes down the list, skips his name if applicable, next one rolls 1d5 and skips his own and those already drawn, then 1d3. If Roland vs Robyn/Sebaston happens, then probably narrator has to take control over Robyn if player doesn't show up quick.
