Hmm, seems that chance TN needs calibration, since Roland's rank is 1 (not 11, the 11 is used to calculate rank), probably more prudent to have TN=Their rank+Your DoS. Worse jousters more prone to accident instead of facing worse jouster means **you** are more prone to accident (or better because I think rank 5 was supposed to be best in original script).

Worse jousters more prone to accident instead of facing worse jouster means **you** are more prone to accident (or better because I think rank 5 was supposed to be best in original script). [OOC: I think the issue was the repeated use of ranks "For the purpose of resolving certain event rewards and points towards progression, jousters are ranked from 1 to 5, this is based on the sum of Fighting and Animal Handling Ranks: ... Each Tourney Knight+1 bonus counts as +0.5 combined ranks." As that was the only way I could generate a sensible TN. Although you're presumably more likely to get injured against superior jousters (you'll be hit for more damage and more likely to be dismounted), so you could apply a gap in rank + Degrees of Success to chance TN to avoid injury?]

No, on that part it should be pretty clear that "rank" refers to the 1 to 5 scale that sorts jousters from Redtusk and Stormbreaker at 1 to the unnamed masses at 5.

[OOC: Explicitly tells us the summed animal handling+fighting and attendants bonuses are "ranks": "Each Tourney Knight+1 bonus counts as +0.5 combined ranks. Pious, Blood of Andals (Fighting), Talented (Animal Handling) and Talented (Fighting) counts as +0.5 combined ranks each". We know what you meant now and writing rules is hard, so I can sympathise. But it wasn't clear to me, particularly alongside the context of then using this to set the injury chance TN.]

Ser Daeron accomplishes the dubious feat of being rejected twice, or so the icy glare from Lady Lyanna might indicate as she demonstratively walks away to personally tie the ribbon across the bracer of Ser Lyonel Costayne. Apparently, she does not approve of his actions. Over the course of the torney, Ser Daeron is challenged by Lord Cuy and Ser Titus Blackbriar, though the latter challenge does cause a whiff of excitement, it is Ser Rennifer who gets heads to turn by not simply thumping the shield with a lance, but rather charging it with such force that both his lance and the pole the shield is mounted on breaks before spitting on the now downed shield and riding away to curses and jeers. 1=Rank 1, 2-4=Rank 2, 5-15=Rank 3, 16-30=Rank 2: 2#1d30 3 29So Titus, Lancely Cuy....and Rennifer Waters.

Whatever black deeds Ser Victor may have committed, it is not him who face a well deserved hard defeat, but The Knight of The Broken Spear and Ser Niclas who must be carried to the maester's tent, it would seem cruel to unmask an unconscious mystery knight, so perhaps this one's secret was saved by a particularly hard landing? Ser Roland finds himself challenged by Ser Karyl Vance, along with some Westermen knights he does not recognize the names of, it would stand to reason that these two are no match for him. Chance TN 10: 3#2d6 10 6 51-2: Tier 1, 3-5: Tier 2, 6-10: Tier 3: 1d10 7Challengers for Roland: Ser Karyl Vance and two rank 4 glory hounds of the Westerlands. Patrek, Victor, Spear, Nicklas: 4#2d6 9 7 4 4So night-night to Mystery Knight and Ser Nicklas

Lady Lyanna's rejection stung the first time, but by the time she had tied her ribbon on Ser Lyonel's arm Daeron had already moved on. He knew that there was no way that Lord Reynald would ever permit them to marry in the first place so he had no illusions about winning her hand in a joust, today he would simply ride for himself and the honor of House Starling. When he saw that Lord Lancel struck his shield, he grinned. He hadn't seen the man joust in some time, but Lord Cuy didn't have a reputation for being a world-class jouster, he was probably trying to make a name for himself by challenging Wildfyre and hoping for a lucky day, just as if Wildfyre himself challenged Redtusk while hunting for glory. Better for men in their cups to talk about his jousting victories than him wearing the horns of a cuck. Much to Daeron's surprise, and perhaps that of some in the audience, he was knocked from his saddle but not without taking down Lord Lancel as well. Though many would agree that Daeron's lancework was superior, he was willing to accept an honorable draw and not finish it with swords so as to leave Lord Cuy's honor, and purse, intact. TT Nightsong vs Lancel Cuy-N; SiS-TN 21; 15: 7d6k4+6 29 6d6k4+1 14 (2 DOS, Simple Failure) Honorable Draw: (.6*3)=1.8=>2 Points and no ransom Running Total: 12 Points and 25000 ss

Three knights boldly struck Roland's shield, keen to dismount the proud Reachman. Three knight tumbled from their seats, for the Reachman's pride was well founded. Twin Tourneys Challenge answering Def1, Braced T24/19 First roll each 21/15 otherset,: 3#9d6k4+7 25 25 22 3#6d6k4+6 24 20 23Roland moved to stand vigil for the Knight of the Broken Spear and ensure a maester saw to his vanquished foe, with his squire standing for him when Roland was occupied at his own matches. A combination of honour and curiosity drove him to this. Surely much of the point of a mystery knight was the drama of their unmasking?![OOC: tournament winnings so far: 4x 25,000 SS 2x 5,000 SS = 110,000 SS 18 points from best 3 matches: 3x6 = 18]

17 vs 12 = 2 DoS 11 vs 12 = Simple Fail He was happy with the two wins but not the draw and decided to take more care of his seat for the next two challengers. The next victory was sweet
but his fifth match concluded with another draw. He'd have certainly preferred two more wins but was never upset leaving a joust with more than what he had come with. [OOC: Another win, another draw. I understand the joust was vs. TN 18 their SiS (after you pointed it out last time!). I think with those winnings it might finally be time for Mikel to splurge and get a Longsword for mounted fighting!]

Though Balon's name carries few friends here, it seems that most are content to ignore his presence, his challengers being Westermen of not exactly distinguished pedigree or high renown, although a couple are fairly capable jouster even by Reachman standards. Balon Challengers 1=1, 5=2, 15=3, 35=4: 3#1d100 35 31 90So 2xrank 4 and 1x rank 5, with the last one(s) being cut away if Balon is challenged by PC's.

While Redwolf sat tall in his saddle, the fine superior armor he wore freshly repaired after being ruptured by Ser Normyn's war lance, his grip could not have held tighter to the reigns. The smile he wore was placid, only present to shield the doubt that he held in his chest. His wounds had finally healed, but pride was not something that was easily patched up, and unlike his armor Robyn could not fill or fix his pride. He was going to take on anyone who so much as sneered in his direction, because he had only ever been unhorsed twice and Robyn was eager to prove he could not be unhorsed again. A tournament, however, called for something more. Robyn was, after all, a knight of Summer, and what would a joust be without a little bit of dramatic flair? Clicking his tongue twice, he tugged the reigns towards the audience as the hooves strode with a dust pluming clomp. Staring up for Ysilla, he smiled more, a genuine expression that had a bit of mischief on its edges, "Lady Ysilla, I have a proposal to make,"

A gauntleted hand rose to place over his heart, feigning pain before speaking, "Then I have a second proposal to make," Robyn tittered, before asking, "What is it that you desire, my lady? Do you crave the honor of being crowned Queen," he paused, a subtle query of larger aspirations despite not wishing to insinuate such things, before finishing the title, "Of Love and Beauty? Or does your palate wish for something else?"
This happens after the Vineyard event, correct?
Also, do the three challenges need to be resolved with the quick method?

"Some other lady surely does, ser, but not I, a crown so given has not been earned by any grander accomplishment than simply being born and grown into an object of desire." Ysilla does find the subject amusing, one might even suspect that she holds to such a principle for the fun of messing with people's heads. "I will win it by my own hand, or not at all, alas, the embarrassment this would inflict upon the unhorsed knights littering the path I strode to glory is apparently so terrible that I must be twice as noble as all of them together by sparing the chivalry of the realm from humiliation"
