[Phase 3] HotV, Breaking Free vs. Goon, Aim + Fighting (Brawling) + FAT + DP: 6d6k6 16 6d6k4 21, FailI believe this is wrong. In Cautious stance does the -1D apply to a test like this? I still lost but should it have been 6d6k5 (Fighting 5, Brawling 0, Aim +1b converted to 1D with DP, -1D for Cautious, Wound canceled by Fatigue) or is it 6d6? ________________________________________________________________ CD: 12 (14 + 3 CD - 5 Grabbed) HP: 6/12 AR: 10 F/I/W: 2/0/1 Passive Fighting: 24 Special: Spend 1 DP to convert 1b to 1D Currently Prone and Grabbed

Breaking free is not an attack test, so 6k6 looks about right.

The Ironhand seems content with having his men hammer on against Balon, clearly having spent most of his strength like his foes. Pin Balon: 7d6k4 18 Simply forces Balon to break free before being allowed to make any attacks. Aim+Reckless: 7d6k5+1 28 4x7-10=18 Ironhand CyB turtle: 6d6k2 12Yielding and being taken captive will probably lead to interesting results, it'll probably be costly to produce a get out of jail card (Sponsor is very applicable, Bittersteel for asking Balon to start this mess might feel obliged to get him out of it), Blackwoods are unlikely to just slap an excessive ransom for his safe return home. Ulbert Blackwood: CD: 16 (13+3 from cautious) AR: 11 Health: 4/12 (Tough) Injuries: 1 Fatigue: 1 Wounds: 2 Wields Shield and battleaxe. Blackwood Knights: CD: 16/11 (13+3 for taking fatigue, -5 Reckless on the one not grabbing). AR: 10 Health: 12/12 Fatigue: 0/0 Wields bastard swords (currently not) and large shields.

18 Damage: -2 HP, 4 Injuries Takes Fatigue to ignore Wound [Phase 3] HotV, Breaking Free vs. Goon, Aim + Fighting (Brawling) + FAT + DP: 6d6k6-3 19 7d6k4 16, Success
Spends last Fatigue to gain an extra LA I can't do any damage to Ironhand but by attacking him I can increase my passive and CD using Cautious and LBF I (-3b) CD: 20 (14 +3 CD +3 LBF I) Passive vs. Grab: 21 (16 +2 Shield Mastery, +3 LBF I) HP: 4/12 AR: 10 F/I/W: 4/4/1 Passive Fighting: 24 Special: Spend 1 DP to convert 1b to 1D Currently Prone

You may want to do a maneuver instead of attack against one of them, can be the difference between saving your ass or not.

Balon breaks free, and his enemies strike again, but finds no openings in his armor this time.

Assuming Parmen yields to dampen the morale effects.

Even grievously wounded, Ironhand stands fast against the hated Brackens, though the man has been weakened, it is mostly his presence on the battlefield and constant threat that aids the men around him, as his axe does not rise and fall and rise again covered in even more blood and gore as in earlier such battles.

Isn't that half the number of attacks he should be taking?
- 2 attacks per round should be 8 per 4 and this is 4 per 4?
