Well, when the maester puts it that way, Imry is aware that such things does costs money, and the sum is mostly a pittance to someone of Ser Imry's prowess at the lists.
Although to Rhaegor, the solution of having Lyanna join the faith ought to seem more beneficial to House Levalle than a murder.

AddamDid Addam not just claim that Ser Loren was no true competition? House Velaryon is on the other side of the landmass, but certainly, a union with a man of Ser Addam's loyalties would surely be a choosing a side, and that comes with implied offers of alliance. A pity that Lord Walgrave is a fool, getting angry about knights remembering their holy charge, surprised perhaps, but angry? No. That other thing just leads to headache down the road. "And I stand by my words. If I were to divert all my attention to this matter, the Oakenshield would be mine, but what would be my reward? Delia the Dull? To rule on the behalf of someone else legacy instead of mine own? I rather focus on more fruitful endeavors, but if one or more of my lordly friends were to assist in this endeavor, then I would be inclined to repay the favor by seriously considering the match."

It is the province of the young to deal with such absolutes, Adddam would do well to remember that all his attentions may matter little against those of The Rock. Only the Tyrells and Hightowers can compete with them in terms of wealth, after all.
