Ser Aemon commands for a line to be formed up to face these most dangerous of knights. Ser Bowen looks like having seen better days, but he does even out the numbers slightly, and one does want numbers when fighting these two blackguards. Those who forsake chivalry don't deserve its protections. Were this almost any other group charging at the Kingsbridge line, Daeron would have ignored Ser Aemon's command, but he was no fool. The Merryweather blackguards would kill him and his Companions given the opportunity, this was about survival and justice much more than sport now. A calmer or more tactical man might have dispatched Ser Bowen first, stack the numbers in the Starlings' favor even more, but that servant of Longtable had yet to wrong his house directly. With an incoherent war cry he channeled his rage into a savage charge at Ser Norren Wythers, though perhaps his zeal got in the way of his ability to swing a blade. An unfortunate mistake against these men.

Ser Aemon takes a cautious approach to begin with, while Ser Ulf goes straight for Ser Bowen, sending the man reeling, Ser Norren and Ser Rennifer allows him to pass between them before focusing their strength on Ser Daeron, whether Lord Eldon have left specific instructions to target one of the most hated foes, or they just figure it best to take out one of the strongest opponents first. Perhaps better for Daeron to take this hit than for them to pick on less robust companions. Ser Selmond and Ser Samwell charges into Ser Bowen and clatters him to the ground, having no care as to whether or not he is alright. Ser Aemon barks for the companions to close ranks and hold the line, spying reinforcements coming in, better to save one's energy until such a time, allowing for rotation in and out of the fray. He reels from the staggering blow, Rennifer was supposed to be the brute between them, but Norren was showing to be a fearsome enemy in his own right. However, Wildfyre was far from being out of the fight. Lining up a shot, he gives it right back.

Aemon orders Ulf to recover while others enters the fray, and directs the Companions to focus on Ser Norren at first, that gets the attention of Rennifer and Norren that redirects their attacks to the leader, so far so good, though Ser Norren is proving to be very tough to deal with as Ser Roland arrives with reinforcements. Nobody seems to care about nine knights against two when the latter are Eldon's dogs.
I am putting Daeron on a little autopilot: He will pass to let Aemon and Ulf act first, and if Roland posts his actions first, Daeron will pass until after Roland, If Daeron posts first, he does not. Faster if all NPC's can act in one go then Roland and Daeron in whichever order they are able to post, Blackguards acts after them anyway. Roland is having +4 in assists for charging Norren. Roland’s fortuitous charge opened up an opportunity for Daeron to place Norren in between himself and Rennifer. With the risk of his skull being crushed inwards by the blackguard’s morningstar somewhat reduced, he unleashed an absolutely ferocious barrage against Norren. Though lacking in an eye, his enemy was able to see well enough his intent and managed to avoid the worst of it.

Rennifer would pursue Daeron, but too many bodies in his way, so he slams Ser Aemon instead. One might suspect Ser Norren would want to repay Ser Roland for the loss of his eye, but no, he tries to take advantage of the opening left by Daeron but with far less sting in his slash than before. Working together, Lord Jaime, Ser Dunstan and Ser Vardis begins to chip away at Ser Rennifer's defenses, helped on by Aemon, but Lord Willem's son in law is unlikely to be able to hold on for much longer.
