I was searching for the clip from Rome with the first night between Marc Anthony and Octavia. No luck Loved that show so much. James Purefoy is perfectly cast as that magnificent bastard.

For those not remembering (or having seen) that scene, it was basically Marc Anthony and Octavia married against their will for political expediency, from memory it was a rather stiff and silent bedtime scene and it goes something like this:
Marc Anthony: Neither of us are exactly pleased with this arrangement, but we *are* husband and wife, so if you don't mind.
(Proceeds to awkward sex scene).
Which is probably how things would go between Parmen and Alys for some time after chronicle 1 if he insisted upon performing his duties as a husband.

There is also a high likelyhood that there'll be a bit of an easter-slowdown due to AFK-ishness of several people at once.

Be careful with Ser Daeron. He's charming and friendly and intelligent, but he's known for his temper. I think that's the nicest thing anybody has said about me this whole game.

Laena may enjoy messing with you, but she does actually like you. It's just that her liking you is no protection against her wanting to put pressure on you to see what you're made of.

Look under the Challengers section. That tells you what to roll and what group you'll be in.

If I remember correctly he was banging her mother at the time so at least I don't have that working against me.

I don’t get the Anvil Gloom Knight bit. Can someone clue me in on the joke?

IC: Only people from the Riverlands would get it. OOC: Those around for the previous game would get it.

I don’t get the Anvil Gloom Knight bit. Can someone clue me in on the joke? It's a reference to Dragon's Dance - Anvil Gloom Knight was the alias used by Loreia (a guards*woman* PC of House Coldbrook) to joust as a mystery knight. So it was doubly scandalous - not only was she a woman, she was a commoner! What made it fun was the player made a second account, to keep their identity an OOC mystery as well. Eventually, she managed to prove herself enough, and be a useful-enough political symbol that she was knighted, becoming possibly the first female knight. Suffice to say, anyone using that particular alias knowingly is a troll of the highest order.

What kind of insane lord would allow a lowborn woman to become a knight and serve in their house! The insanity!
