Allisers feet ached. There was a reason why he had the young mummer do all this running around, and the past day made it abundantly clear of the strain that chasing down leads could have. However with something as important as this the Lord could not sit idly by while others chased down the clues. He needed to look into the witnesses eyes and remind people of the rewards that he could offer them.
Now he sits in the Golden Rose Inn, waiting for the other investigators to show. There was much he wished to share and discuss with the others, especially about various findings they had discovered.

Cleyton was somewhat tired after the jousting and taking care of his horses, and at the same time somewhat wary of the man he was about to go meet. To bad moments just walk faster as he continued to walk to the appointed location in the Golden Rose Inn, which was kind of a strange name for the people meeting with in which only drove a chuckle out of Cleyton. "A Bolton and Levalle under a Golden Rose" he smiled and sighed "Talk about thorns and dark omens." all he could do was continue on his way.
The Golden Flower was as majestic as its name sounded and rather interesting establishment, Cleyton wondered if he could afford to buy it at some point later when he awoke from his day dream with the fine smell of food and sweet smell of fruit wine. He took a moment to enjoy the smells and then the conversations and other background noise, it was a rather nice place with fine people in it, he might just make it a habit to visit, but today it was an errand he had to run for lady Laena, and if he wanted to increase his standing before her, he better go all out with it. Noticing a man that fits the description and carries himself like someone of that station he approached with some caution and a smile "Lord Alliser Levalle" he bowed slightly to the man in respect "I'm Ser Cleyton Bolton, sworn sword of House Starkwood, I hope you did not wait for long, you mind if I have some tea while we discuss things or are we ready to depart?" Cleyton did not sit because he found it unnecessary if they were leaving, but if they were waiting for more people or had time for a drink then he would GLADLY take a seat.
[ooc]I believe it's only Alliser, Cleyton, and Parmen.

Cleyton's eyes have a distinct shine after hearing those words which he tries to disguise with a light coff as he sits down "Thank you lord Alliser, a kind gesture of your part" his smile dims a bit "I hope we do not wait to long, this type of thing is best to engage quickly, but investigate carefully."
He orders the Golden Rose specialty tea see what it is, he was rather curious with some sweet bread to accompany it and share with lord Alliser to probe his tastes. Cleyton might not be the best with words, but he was cunning and there were many ways to probe a man for information of themselves "Lord Alliser, are you enjoying the events so far? Any favorites for the joust?"

Roland entered warily, bowing to Lord Levalle in acknowledgement of the man's rank.
A knight's life was at risk, but was doing the honourable thing worth associating with the likes of him?
[OOC: Awareness (Emapthy) TN8 - Roland is extremely troubled by what they've learned. 2 DoS or better: he's feeling a mixture of anger and bitter disappointment at someone close to him. 3 DoS or better: he's on a much shorter fuse than normal and seems eager to leave to confront someone.]
"My Lord, Sers."

Cleyton stood up and bowed slightly to Ser Roland, he had a good impression of the man and his skills left no doubt that it would be an asset to have him there "Greetings Ser Roland, pleased to see you once more" inviting him to join the table and noticing something was off with Ser Roland, but kept it to himself for the time being, he just got here and they were all here to do something. Roland nodded in acknowledgement of Cletyton's greeting.
"Your performance is a credit to the North, it is clearly not just White Harbour that produces fine knights."
He took the seat offered, clenching and opening both fists before setting both hands on the table in an effort to still then.

Taking note of the clenched fists, Alliser sets their minds to work. Explaining the search that they had and discovering that the kidnappings, and attempted kidnappings, were all related. "Then there was the disturbing tidbit we found out about Ser Daeron. He seems a noble knight and had the man who seems to have ordered the kidnappings at hand. Now I doubt very much that this man was not the one who ordered the kidnapping of Lady Alicent and Jorah Cuy as well. Yet from what I have hear, Ser Daeron did not have any prisoners delivered to his lord, nor to Lord Tyrell. Is that true Ser Roland? Did I miss something in the excitement?" he queries the young knight?

Roland pushed himself to his feet with one hand, despite only just having taken a seat. He dragged the other hand down his face.
"No prisoners were taken to either lord by Starling sworn swords."

"I feel that is the next avenue of inquiry then, Ser Roland, Ser Cleyton, perhaps you should go ask him what happened. For it is strange that after Ser Daeron, a fire supporter, had a talk with this man that he would just let him go no?" He puts on a slight scowl, "Then another fire supporter should be so lucky to find the heir before even we could. Almost like they might have had a head start on discovering this information leading to where the heir is." He looks at both of the knights seriously, "Be careful Sers. I think we might have stumbled upon something truly dangerous. If these knights muttering behind closed door about the legitimacy of our king are actually to blame, there is no telling what they might do to end some troublesome knights." He looks to Roland and in a grave tone continues, "Ser, you will be in the melee tomorrow. Accidents happen in melees to be sure, but sometimes accidents are not so accidental." he warns day 8 who dun it? persuasion convince: 6d6k4 14

Cleyton only listens to both speak, but the possibility that lord Alliser mentions is not just sinister, in the game of thrones and with high stakes it is highly likely that it could have been planned that way. "I believe questioning Daeron is not just a simple thing either, unless we are looking at another trial by combat because that is where this will more than likely end." he felt a headache coming in "Let us say that Daeron planned such actions which might not be only once, and that whomever staged the rescue was either a willing or unwilling party we do not know, but to many coincidences are hardly that." he drank a sip of tea and tore a piece of bread and ate for a moment before he continued.
"I do think Daeron needs questioning, the way to do so is either privately or in public" both ways could render results, one would just dry public outcry and drop shit on his image, while the other is more discreet, but might drop something harder than shit on his face.

"I don't think there should be any need to make it public." Alliser answers at least not yet. "but I will allow you to think which option would be best" Cleyton eats more bread as he mulls thinks over Alliser is quite good, he has left it up to us to think and then he will agree, and if things go awry... a slight frown appeared in his brow and drinking some tea white taking a deep breath "If it is in private it must be somewhere that can't cause a scene, perhaps even the same hideout of the criminals, but if confronted publicly his reputation will be questioned, and the rescue as well as the rescuers intentions will be as well" Cleyton covered his face with both hands trying to think it through some more "Yet publicly could tip the scales in our favor if done right, after all we do not know if the rescuers were willing or unwilling pawns, so they must be cleared as if they were unwilling if we confront Daeron in public" He turned as if he would ask Ser Roland but thought better of it and turned to lord Alliser "What do you think Lord Alliser" I'm making you participate in this one way or another, I'm not clinging to just Ser Roland skill at arms, a sharp tongue with deep pockets helps as well.

Before long a small party arrived at the Golden Rose Inn. Lady Laena enters with an armed and armored Ser Mikel who guides her to the table the others are sitting at and makes the appropriate greetings and introductions before offering Laena a seat and taking one himself. A pair of Starkwood men and Mikel's squire find a table close enough to react but far enough to give privacy, and keep an eye on the taverns other occupants.
Mikel wastes no time on small talk but explains to the other what they have discovered when it is clear he would not be interrupting.
"From what we have discovered the man who is responsible for this attack is the same who was behind the attacks on Lady Alicent" He glances to Roland. "and the attempted abduction of Jorah Cuy. Unfortunately we only know him as a hooded man. We had managed to determine where Ser Aladore had been taken but before we could do anything with the information we had heard the news of Ser Aladores rescue."
Finished, Mikel quietly reads the expressions of the men at the table while he awaits what they might say.
