Something is going on in the Reach, knights talks to other knights, the weight of Dornish influence, knights being passed by for appointments, the king's honors being bestowed upon soft and bloated men on their cushioned reclines with, spending their time with books and paramours. If true men does not act now, the guiding principle that only proper knights can provide will vanish from the realms.
Restrictions: Only chivalrous characters publicly having declared for the Blackfyre cause can partake except as noted below.
Recruiting like-minded individuals The following tests may be made: Persuasion (Any)+Chivalry TN 12 Status (Reputation)+Chivalry TN 12
For each 2 DoS: Gain +1 "Bracken" points, though most partaking have very little idea of what they are recruiting for, only that it is for the Blackfyre cause. For each critical failure: -3 "Bracken" points.
What is going on? Knowledge (Streetwise) TN 12, each DoS grants insight into what exactly this is all about.
Those not in the know
-Any character not qualifying for participation may partake in "What is going on?" by succeeding on a TN 15 Cunning (Logic) test, gain +1D to the test if a character from your house does any recruiting. -Any character that is recruiting or succeeds on the cunning test may share what they know with other characters of their house, allowing them to partake in "What is going on?"
Benefit/Drawback considerations: Great Bastard: The +1D applies to all tests. Charismatic: Gain +1 to both tests.

Life is funny. And death gives perspective. He had taken iron against his own blood, risking that most ancient of curses, for Balon's transgressions. For his black deeds, his lack of honour, his hate-mongering and rebellious talk. How little Titus knew. How little he had understood. What a blind fool he had been. Balon had wronged, in many ways but risking Kinslaying upon either of them? Madness. And the Blackfyre cause... Titus saw it differently know. He saw the truth. The man the Realm needed, that the Realm was crying out for. Yes, Daeron had brought Dorne into the fold and there was peace but at what price? His time at Starpike had given him many things. He spoke often to Lord Gormon and the Lord challanged him constantly. Mother was right, Father had trained him well with sword, shield and lance but he knew little of the real world. Lord Gormon sought to amend that. Doing what Titus did best, he attended many tournaments and there he spoke to those who would listen. About honour. About chivalry. About the duty of knights. About the truths of the world. It's warm by the fire.
Titus is officially a Blackfyre SupporterRallying to the Black Dragon - Persuasion (Charm) + Chiv v TN12: 6d6k4+9 25 - 3 DoS Rallying to the Black Dragon - Status (Reputation) + Chiv v TN12: 5d6k3+9 24 - 3 DoS 6 DoS - 3 Bracken Points What's Going On? Rally to the Black Dragon, Persuasion (Charm) + Chivalry, Status (Reputation) + Chivalry, TN12: 5d6k3+5 23, 3 DoS 4d6k3+5 16, 1 DoS4 DoS = 2 Bracken PointsWhat is going on?Knowledge (Streetwise): Pass. If possible I'd like to use my Sponsor Benefit to learn what exactly is being planned. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Balon was on the recruitment trail when he'd heard that his brother had publicly proclaimed himself to be a supporter of Blackfyre. Oh how his heart sang at the revelation. Whatever Lord Gormon had said to Titus had worked and Balon wanted to give his cousin a great big bear hug the next time they met, consequences be damned. The conversation Balon had with his brother while he recovered at Highgarden came to the fore of his mind. Fighting side by side. It seemed Balon was going to get his wish after all. All the bickering, the duel, the family split by politics was in the past. Balon, Titus, mother, and even the sour-mouthed Delia were of one mind. Balon greatly anticipated the day Vortimer was knighted. They weren't the Redwynes but they were damn close. With this newfound knowledge Balon was invigorated. He traveled the Reach and spread the word that men of action were needed in the Riverlands. Balon scoured the Ale houses, the wine sinks, the training yards, the pillow houses, and the hamlets that dotted the land. Where knights respected prowess more than learning, Balon was there. Where communities had been ravaged by Dornish raids over the centuries, Balon was there. Where second and third sons were looking to make a name for themselves, Balon was there. Where there were lonely and unappreciated wives willing to speak honeyed words to their husbands in exchange for pleasurable company, Balon was there. When all was said and done his diligence and natural charm had borne fruit. And it was good.

RttBD - Cunning (Logic) +1D (GB) - TN15: 6d6k5 16 Pass As Laena travels, she stays attuned to subtle political currents. It isn't long before she catches wind of strange movements. Enough to attract her attention. Then, her interest. RttBD - Knowledge (Streetwise) +1D (GB) - TN12: 7d6k5 23 3 DoS Her heritage, combined with her capabilities mean the answers leap towards her, almost before the question is even out her mouth. Which does leave her with one further question. Well. Now what?

As this is an event, the cohort can only partake if the PC does not. So you'll have to drop a few dices (using 1d6 and 1d5 to determine which) from the streetwise test).

By now most of the knights of the Mander knew that Wildfyre supported the ascension of his half-brother, Ser Daemon, however he had the sense to hold off advocating outright rebellion. So far. In the meantime he contended himself with finding more supporters for the cause. His time traveling the tourney circuit put him in contact with scores of his peers, many of whom required proper convincing of Blackfyre’s value to the realm and the current king’s illegitimacy, through actions and birth. As a Great Bastard his words carried greater weight and permitted him access to more of Bittersteel’s plans. Addam, firstly, I decided to add charismatic bonus (I rushed the first batch of events, so this one didn't get consideration). Secondly, DP use of converting +1b to +1D can be made after the roll, and by my calculations, you gain no further Bracken points by using the DP+glory, (4 total DoS as opposed to 5), so you probably want to cancel that expenditure.

In the aftermath of the Black Tourney Parmen did what he could to bring a moderating element to the Fire cause. He recruited for quality, not quantity and targeted those who would support Blackfyre not out of petty jealousies or lust for power but for the good of the Realm. He targeted men (and a few women), both high born and common folk of honor, the type who could see the qualities of Ser Daemon but who did not want a second Dance of Dragons. He engaged and charmed and convinced, not to prepare to start a war, or even to win one, but in the hopes that it was still possible to prevent the approaching conflict. There were times when he thought that he might be successful and that there were still enough reasonable men in the Realm to work out a compromise that would benefit both sides. Increasingly however, he felt that there were forces larger than him at work and that he was just one insignificant knight trying to push a boulder up a hill. Not strong enough to force it up the summit or smart enough to find some way to divert it, all that he could do was hold it in place until, inevitably, the weight crushed him and the avalanche buried everything in its path.
