Parmen resented being forced to push Blackfyre against his will and if given half a chance he would gladly send the blackmailer flying off of Lord Tyrell's highest tower. But right now he didn't even have a name to go on and he had a promise to protect not just his own reputation but that of Lady Jeyne as well. He had never been any good at lying so he tried to take his true feelings and rationalize them to the task at hand. He had nothing but respect for Ser Daemon Blackfyre, it was the man's supporters that made his skin crawl, excepting his brother Roland and a few others who seemed to not let politics overcome their honor. Fortunately the events of the past day were ripe for spreading ideas of how things could be better if stronger men were in charge. "Say what you will but if more lords and knights had the honor that Ser Daemon showed in challenging both Ser Otho and Ser Balon for their misdeeds, then we wouldn't see mobs forming like they did yesterday. I wish that the High Septon and the Most Devout would be half as determined at keeping their supporters on their good behavior as Daemon is with his."
