If I am to be his plaything, the least I can do is attempt to ensure Lady Rhonda does not wish to see me swept out to see like her husband does, she could be one of the few allies I can make that would be a match for him. Alliser stands, those in attendance would have noticed that he is not as affectionate towards Lady Delana as was customary for himself, although it may just be that he is acting more proper due to the recent events and Lord Tyrells distaste towards rocking the boat. "My Lords and Ladies, while there has been much excitement found on the tournament field, and knights proving their gallantry, I would like us to take a moment to appreciate the hostessing that Lady Rhonda has provided to our better halves!" He gives a moment for the chuckles to die down, then holds out a glass, "To the Lady that has raised so many of our own daughters, and kept their virtue safe from the depredations of unsightly fools!" He then takes a deep drink of wine before returning to his seat. "False!" Alliser's reply to his toast is a shout from the galleries where the dwarf up until now have been quietly observing the proceedings, he grabs a rope fastened to a collumn and rips it lose before taking a moment of pulling it tout from where it has been fastened around the central beam before making a jump that makes more than one noble gasp in astonishment, the ones not having seen him do this sort of thing before. He swings down between the two central long tables and right where the forward movement stops he drops down to be caught by two big and burly aides of his, they quickly put him down and he sprints over to Alliser and jumps up on the table, deftly avoiding stepping on plates or kicking over any cups. "Is Lord Spongeholder questioning my honor? I, the High Lord of the Low Gardens? Does My Lord Spongeholder call me a liar?" He produces a doll and a squeaky imitation of Butterbump's voice emanates from it, the dwarf does not open his mouth, which seems most impressive. "Why, yes, yes he did! I heard it all my lord! He spoke of your depredations, he called you unsightly! He implied that your claims of making the daughters of the Reach fertile were all false! The crowd seems to be delighted by this turn of events. "Silence! I require a sponge!" One of his aides quickly appears from one of the servant's entrances with a sponge dripping with soapy water, logic would imply that he had a number of such effects prepared in advance so that he had whatever he needed at hand for a great number of japes, unless he and Alliser had planned this all out in advance. "My honor has been impugned! I demand the right to defend it! I bid you face me in the morning my lord, upon your trusty steed, wielding your sponge of choice. I shall await upon Gertrude the Magnificent with my own in hand, and I can assure you my lord, mine will be the bigger!" With a smug smirk he takes the sponge and demonstratively pulls it over his hand, it's not exactly a glove, but the symbolism is what he wants, then he theatrically puff his chest out, neck outstretched so that he arrogantly looks down the nose on Alliser as he "pulls off the glove" and throws it in his lap before dramatically turning with a flourish of his half-cape, leaps off the table and makes for the exit, but visits Lady Alicent Yronwood on his way out, helping himself to some dates, olives and cheese off her plate, resting his other hand indecently upon her thigh, any other man would have earned a slap in the face. "Say what you will about the Dornish, but they have good taste in food!" He declares, as he moves by Lady Mya and stops again. "I can happily inform my lady that the carpenter has repaired and reinforced the bed in my quarters since her last nightly visit, should she feel lonely tonight. No? Well, might I have perhaps receive the honor of a goodnight's kiss?" Lady Mya looks like she might do it as the dwarf tiptoes and stretches his lips forward but Lady Ysilla quickly hands her a pig's head, and Mya struggles with holding back her laughter as she presents it. "What!? No! Gertrude would be deeply insulted! I simply cannot. Butterbumps pouts dramatically at being the subject of such ridicule and marches out of the room with demonstrative arrogance cannily reminiscent of Ser Addam Velaryon's mannerisms. Ysilla and Mya claps their palms together in triumph. Shortly after, Lord Willem decides to hold a speech, nobody remembers what he had to say. After Lord Willem's speech, Ashara stands. "Lord Willem has the right of it." Most people may have taken no note of his speech, but Ashara was not most people. "true knights must hold themselves to a higher standard - which means not rebelling against one's proper lord or king. Knights should be an example to us all. Could you imagine if the smallfolk decided to take up arms against thier lord, simple because they didn't like him? How many Ser Donnel's and Ser Owen's would be lost on a regular basis? Should we sacrifice the best of us simply because the king is good, but apparently not good enough for some? That makes no sense." She raises her glass in toast. "Here is to good and true knights, an example to noble and smallfolk alike, enforcing the proper customs of fealty upon which the Seven Kingdoms are founded." Even at the final feast the discourse is not free of politicking, at least Butterbumps kept himself in line, mostly in line. He knows from experience that Ladies Alicent and Mya will play along with his antics. Lord Leo is happy enough that no duels were challenged on the spot, though considering that two of the knights Lady Mya just insulted had the good sense to stay away, he has his doubt that this madness is finally at an end.

I seem to recall Dorne rebelling against the Young Dragon after he had conquered Dorne, bring them into a realm that was forged through conquest." He lowered his glass and made his way from the champion's dais to where Ashara was seated. "I'm afraid everyone here can imagine what would happen if the smallfolk took up arms against their lords, for two days ago, the false septon brought them to bear against Lord Eldon and his family. The same septon who has made it clear just what he thinks about those who share the same mind as I do. Lady Maegelle is not done, it is not likely the drink, maybe just a little, but she is fully capable of being a foul wretch without losing any more of her inhibitions, she can be clearly heard commenting on the matter of Lady Meadows how it is that the Spongeholder and Lady Laena, rumored to have killed her husband are the ones behind the character assassination, implying that it's all in a bid to get their tendrils latched onto Lord Marq the champion.
