Bittersteel employs unorthodox tactics by instead of charging into the fray to reinforce his own men, he goes after Stormbreaker's command squad instead, unorthodox, but clever. Balon and Ser Farman joins what little remains of their strength to his. Stormbreaker and his men are caught flat-footed, can they recover? As far as Balon can tell, things are going exceedingly well. The Stormbreaker lives up to his reputation, enduring blows from Ser Dennis' Valyrian Sword, Ser Patrek champion of House Florent and Ser Ormond Hightower, not quite the equal of those two, but he is one of the swordsmen that Fireball made certain to point out to Balon and instruct him to watch and learn. Stormbreaker's knights, however, are not up to the challenge of Bittersteel's men, not one on one and certainly not when outnumbered as they are, three of them have already fallen.

Stormbreaker was the greatest threat and Bittersteel's men knew it too as the champion of Brightwater and two Hightowers attacked him. The heir to Storm's End was mauled by Ser Robyn and two others quickly fell to the onslaught. For a moment Balon considered going after Lord Armond's knight (Ser Kyle) but instead he looked to finish off Ser Aerion Baratheon before he could retaliate. Unfortunately getting around the three men attacking Stormbreaker proved near impossible and his charge was easily absorbed.

Outnumbered Stormbreaker might be, but defeated? Not at all. And very, very dangerous, which he demonstrates by slamming Ser Dennis Hightower, probably the most capable knight on Bittersteel's side so hard that the man is lifted out of his saddle and falls limp to the ground.
I believe that should be 19 with various bonuses, but you'd need 20 to do damage. Ser Rufus also managed to get out of the pickle and follows Balon.

The Stormbreaker keeps withstanding the barrage he receives, surely almost any other knight would have been felled by now, but even as he slows down, he is still dangerous. Ser Robyn sends Ser Thoren limply to the ground, culling what few men remains of the yellow team to Stormbreaker, Ser Kyle and Ser Malcolm, the Caswell man seems quite resilient for the time being.
Stormbreaker takes fatigue to ignore AP Patrek Aim+Defense (LBF I, -3B): 6d6k4+7 19 2*6-10=2, Stormbreaker at 4/15-5 injuries, 3 fatigue (tough) Ormond Aim+Defensive vs Stormbreaker: 8d6k4+6 26 4*5-10=10, Stormbreaker at 4/15-5 injuries, 1 wound, 3 fatigue (tough) Thoren takes fatigue to ignore AP Farman charges Thoren: 6d6k3+6 21 2*8-10=6, Thoren at 2/12-2 fatigue Raymun aim+attack Thoren: 7d6k4+6 24 3*5-10=5, Thoren at 1/12-1 injury-2 fatigue Rufus charges Malcolm: 6d6k3+7 22 1 DoS, 0 damage Eregar charges Kyle: 6d6k4+4 22 2*7-10=4, Kyle at 1/12-4 injuries, 2 fatigue Owen charges Malcolm: 6d6k3+5 17 0 DoS Robyn charges Thoren: 8d6k4+4 23 3*8-10=14, Thoren is unconscious. The Stormbreaker does start to slow down, surely he cannot take much more. And yet Ser Ormond is lucky that his swing was slightly off the mark or he might follow his cousin to the ground. Ser Malcolm fares better, but have taken a less vicious beating. Ser Kyle is done for, however, Bittersteel nearly takes his head.
So that's 4*6-10=14, Stormbreaker takes another wound. Symon aim+attack Malcolm: 7d6k4+7 29 3*5-11=4, Malcolm at 5/12-1 fatigue Stormbreaker takes 2 fatigue to ignore injuries and one wound. Bittersteel does not quite agree with Balon's analysis, instead swatting away Ser Malcolm's sword to force the issue. Symon Aim+Attack Malcolm: 7d6k4+7 30 2 DoS, 0 damage. Aim+cautious Attack (LBF I-3) Symon: 4d6k3+3 10 Eh. Bittersteel disarms Malcolm: 8d6k5+5 29 Malcolm will take a full round action to yield on his next turn, meaning his opponents are stuck in this thread for a round, he could still be attacked if you really want to, but makes no tactical sense.
