It is customary to organize the team into seven squads of seven, each under the command of a lieutenant (the captain would join one of the squads, typically concerning himself with the wider picture). For the opening phase, seven knights from each team (typically the captain and his squad) will form up along a circle, each group at a tip of an imaginary seven pointed star. The remainder will form up in two jousting lines, the captain and lieutenants selects 21 knights that may be challenged and 21 knights taking turns to issue challenges, the man issuing the challenge may decide where in the line they are to clash.
The captain decides who goes first and largely whom to challenge and where to position themselves.
Test:
Warfare (Tactics) TN 12
Warfare (Command) TN 12
Any lieutenant in the squad not partaking in the jousting lines may assist or do this instead (captain cannot assist if he does this by proxy).
Tally DoS, critical failure counts as -3 DoS, for each DoS below the highest scoring captain, lose 2 TS. This measures the effect of best squad and team cohesion in the immediate aftermath of the clash of lances. Often squads will be re-organized depending on where in the line they end up.
There is generally room for private initiative in terms of what an individual character might do without changing the overall effect of things.
Roland:
Pick out 6 knights for your personal squad of "reserves" (typically a captain have a lieutenant to command that squad while the captain commands the whole team), pick out 21 knights that may be challenged (if Mikel must throw in the towel, he'll be replaced by an unnamed tertiary).
Will also need to fill out the six squads of the other six lieutenants, but that can fully or partially be done by narrator just putting names there.
The other captains will generally put up the tertiary knight up for being challenged, so only Daemon and Roland will be putting up named characters for challenging.
Daemon:
Named team-members that may be challenged:
Terrence Kidwell
Tommen of Fairhaven
Eustace Osgrey
Edwyn Osgrey
Harold Osgrey
Argrave of Nunne
Wendel Webber
Lucas Inchfield
This post will be updated with more info for other people, prioritizing instructions for Roland because he has the most work to do.
