A dusky skinned page with clean white bandages on his left hand weaves through the camp as a bird moves through leaves. Finally he alights upon the tent of a dangerous women and looks at the rather intimidating guards, but was not nearly half as afraid of them as who his message was for.
"Regyn, of house Levalle, here for Lady Leana." It was mid afternoon, the nobles had broken for lunch after the excitement of the duels and challenges and Regyn hoped she had returned to eat with her children.
Alli was smart not coming here himself. He would just as likely agitate an angry dragon as to assist it. When wounded animals oft can not tell a helpful Maester from a butcher.

Laena was nibbling on some bread she'd taken personally from the communal supply, and sipping on some similarly-acquired water, however, her children had already eaten. She was using the time to help Sylvina with her studies, to distract herself from her own problems as much as anything.
When Regyn was announced to her, for a moment her mask of a smile slipped, and a cold predator looked out, though only Sylvina was in a position to see it. She turns around. "Everyone, out." She commands, before turning to the page who announced her visitor. "See him in." She wasn't going to waste time playing games by making him wait.
As Selsa and Roslyn escort the children out, Laena spends the moments she has moving her seat to the most commanding position in the tent, and quickly making sure her clothes were impeccable. Regyn himself was a nobody, but from his eyes to Lord Alliser's ears, and when partnered with a predator, you did not show weakness.
"Master Regyn" she greets him formally when he enters, without rising.

Regyn enters then bows formally and deeply. After rising he looks at the dangerous women but tries not to show fear but looks more like a rabbit staring up at a hawk then a Myrish Mummer. "My Lady, I hope I find you..." she is not going to be well, and courtesies are more likely to engage her then tame her. "I must apologize, but your time is precious and I do not wish to take more then necessary. My Lord senses an opportunity for you with the equestrian competition. He feels that with your status you could easily secure a favorable position for a skilled horsemen. He thinks that if you barter with a knight he might be willing to give you credit and influence due him in exchange for the horse that would normally be yours under such arraignments. It also would be useful to have an invitation to meet with Lord fossway. My Lord knows that he is not an original suspect, but feels you might be able to convince him to help you in your investigation." Regyn bows, "he also asked if there are any matters you would like me to look into our assist you with regarding the investigation. Sadly so far we have not uncovered any further evidence to help you."

Laena listens impassively, trying to figure out why Lord Alliser was stating what appeared to be fairly obvious. Was it a subtle insult? It was only at Regyn's last line that her confusion clears. Ahhh. He can't just show up and say 'nothing to report', he needs *something* to justify the repayment of the debt. The only matter she hadn't considered before was trying to recruit Lord Fossoway into her investigation, an idea she swiftly rejected - four people was already larger than she was comfortable with, given how she envisioned the investigation ending. The last thing she needed was to be accused of a serious crime by a lord with power and credibility.
"Your lord's suggestions are noted." She responds, leaving the matter there. "I have people investigating what Lady Helicent Cockshaw is up to now. I would appreciate it if your Lord would ask around, to try and find out what she has already been up to. Was she seen speaking with anyone unusual, being anywhere unusual," she waves a hand "you and your lord both know the questions at least as well as I do. Lady Ysilla is asking around for more detail about the history between Lady Helicent and House Bridges, and Lord Bryce in particular. Hopefully between our efforts, we'll be able to either find something suspicious enough to damn her, or exculpatory enough to remove her from our list of suspects."
