So we shall have at least two PCs in the semis, quite exciting. Bittersteel and Peake must be as livid as Amerei, for not too dissimilar reasons, really. Lord Marq had better watch his back (and his wine). Cackle. Well said. Interesting to see whether Lord Durwell keeps cheating or not - he doesn't risk it in every joust unlike Lord Lothston. greatbastards.boards.net/thread/230/rules-joust if anyone wants to hamper the chances of anyone in the quarterfinals/semi-finals! "Similar effects may be achieved through more creative methods outside the jousting scenes, typically involving stealth and/or thievery, this may be done by characters who are not jousting themselves. Options A through C are the typical effects achieved (although then negative). But for the creative soul, options such as poison may be more potent (and risky). "

Thinks the septon that wanted Roland to ride instead of Rennifer? I was following along on my phone and missed a crucial detail!
Regardless, I think the post actually does hold up. An astute reader might think the septon a bit jealous of Lord Willum . . . Wait, no I had it right! Why wouldn't I want Roland to kick Willum's ass?

*Gasp*! The Septon has a thing for bastards!
Well, that paints his desire to be alone with me in the hedge maze in a much darker light... Edit: Wait, no, that's been ninja-edited.

Well, hold on there! I passed my Will test to not look at her ass--Butterbumps is actually lying about this!

Wait, no I had it right! Why wouldn't I want Roland to kick Willum's ass? It's not so much the 'ass-kicking' part, as the 'head removing' part... It is a highly satisfying outcome--one that could only have been surpassed if Roland had separated Lord Willum's head from his shoulders. That's more Rennifer's raison d'etre than Roland's.

That's more Rennifer's raison d'etre than Roland's. The septon may be engaging in a little bit of projection here.

I think the Ser Parmen scene with Ser Simon Tarly is very cool for even existing and shows the strength of this format, and matches the source material for events in one arc having a ripple effect elsewhere. - Ser Titus spends destiny to hamper Ser Simon during their joust and defeats him, which we decide due to some loose armour straps. Based on his character description we play this up as him blaming his squire. - The narrator then runs with this, having Ser Simon beat his squire over the matter and sulk in various other scenes. It even shows up in the rumour mill! - Ser Parmen confronts Ser Simon over the matter, following what he's learned in character naturally. Between this and Lady Jeyne Cuy's seduction of Ser Parmen I'm excited to see where his arc goes.

So, do we know (OOC) which bastard lady Septon Abelar has the hots for? The one wearing a gown, not a skirt, referenced in the Butterbumped thread. I only read a sampling of threads, and haven't noticed her being named, and it's not like there's a shortage of candidates.

Cool, thanks. In an unrelated observation, I wonder if perhaps this thread should more accurately be 'who' (or whom?). Either way, looks like popcorn time!

Can I get a reminder of the Sigils and Words of our different PC Houses?
Blackbriar A golden knight, charging across a blue field of seven-pointed stars Deeds, not Words.
Starkwood A wolf of some sort? Our Word is Steel
Levalle Black Fox on a field of Gold? ?
Starling ? ?
