Slowly, Ser Titus was forcing his way back in to the match with his aggressive tactics! The crowd's interest intensified. If one man was only slightly ahead at the close, the matter may well be settled honourably with swords. Or a man could dishonourably contradict the tourney master and demand satisfaction even if the judge regarded one man as significantly ahead. Simon was still ahead, but Ser Titus was clawing back the gap between the two. The crowd roared, both at the length of the match and in anticipation of drawn swords. R5 P7 N;SiS;CyB (-1D): 6d6k3+6 18 6d6k3+1 14 4d6k3 15PR: 21 AR: 10 Health: 12/12

On and on the two rode - unless the final pass saw a dramatic change or one man yielded to the other, this seemed likely to come down to swords. R5 P8 N;SiS;CyB (-1D): 6d6k3+6 21 6d6k3+1 17 4d6k3 10PR: 21 AR: 10 Health: 12/12 [OOC: score is 7 Titus - 8 Simon at the moment, needs a 3 DoS gap for a decisive victor according to format rules, so likely to come down to swords unless someone is unhorsed/final round creates a three rank gap]

Nine passes could not separate the doughty competitors and while the tourney master may declare a narrow victor it seemed likely the vanquished knight could demand an honourable resolution with swords. D5 R9 N;SiS;CyB (-1D):: 6d6k3+6 20 6d6k3+1 17 4d6k3 10 - 1 DoS PR: 21 AR: 10 Health: 12/12 [OOC: think that is 8 DoS each, 9 lance broken each, so even if one of the two wins the Status (Tournaments/Reputation) roll to be declared the victor, gap is <3 so a duel can be forced without a Chivalry penalty. Both get +1 Chivalry for going 9 passes and breaking all their lances.]

Exhausted but bright-eyed, Titus takes his place next to Ser Simon as they await the tourney-master’s announcement. Removing his helm, he address the Tarly heir “My gods ser, well ridden! It’s true what they say about the knights of the Huntsman!” D7, R5 - Status(Tournament)+5 Chiv v Ser Simon: 5d6k3+519

Ser Simon's storied reputation as a jouster seemed to weigh heavily in his favour, making it likely that the challenge would have to be issued by Ser Titus. R5 Status (Bonus) -1D: 6d6k3 18[OOC: plus Chivalry bonus for a narrow win, prompting challenge from Ser Titus?]

“They all seem set on seeing us clash swords, Ser.” He says gesturing outwards to the cheering audience who indeed seemed divided about the decision. “What do you say we give them what they want?” [If issuing a challenge for swords about this does not warrant lowered Chivalry I assume it’s socialy kosher? Asking in relation to Honour-bound drawback] Initiating Combat vs Ser Simon: 3d6-4 7
