Need to speed this one up so there's time to do the round 5 joust. Cleyton's got a superior shield actually, so it's TN 15. His CD with shield is actually 12, since there's no reason not to go with large shield with mail. Knockdown: 4d6 16Smash Shield: 7d6k4 12 Crappy shitty roll dealing only 6 damage, meh. Thought I could beat him with his own tactics, but no.

As poorly as Ser Cleyton struck, Ser Symon was just as bad, struggling to chip away at Ser Cleyton's shield and finding air or his opponent's sword more often than not. R4 C1 Smash shield (inc knockdown and aim): 8d6k4 13 - 0 DoSCD: 9 AR: 10 Ser Symon's Shield has taken 6 damage of 12 Ser Cleyton's Shield has taken 10 Damage of 15 Health: 12/12

Both men found a second wind, and both their shields were reducing to nothing but kindling! R4 C3 Smash shield (inc knockdown & aim): 8d6k4 21delete extra rolled dice, opponent not prone: 1d8 7 - no change to roll CD: 5 AR: 10 Both shields are now sundered! Health: 12/12 Oh right, superior is +6 TN. [OOC: That was my mistake, sorry. Superior is +3TN, corrected in my post. Shields: +3 TN for breaking, reduce the effect of the shattering quality against it by 1 step.]

Ser Symon attempted to drag Ser Cleyton to the ground with him, but the Northerner was wise to his foe's tricks by now. A series of blows aimed at Ser Cleyton's leges and midrift were warded off by shield and armour, leaving the Bolton knight well placed to secure victory. Lesser action: R4 C4 Knockdown: 3d6 5Lesser action: R4 C4 Attack: 6d6k4 17 - 2 DoS = 8 Damage - 8AR = 0 Damage CD: 5 AR: 10 Health: 1/12

CD: 8 AR: 8 Health 12 Combined Attack sword+fist: 7d6k4 23 at 7x4=28, is 18 and Cleyton wins outright, Symon prefers defeat without injuries. If Cleyton doesn't mess him up bad, he'll be gallant and buy his victor a new shield.
