It was with a somber mood Titus took to Wheatsheaf but the man opposed him was not Balon, not yet. The man opposed him was Edric Fossoway, known as one of the strongest men in the Reach but gods willing he would need more than just brute force to bring Titus off his horse. D7 Know Your Opposition (Awareness) v Ser Edric: 5d6k3 15

Ser Edric had progressed this far to the surprise of many, big, clumsy. The weight of his blows with the morningstar are terrifying, but not the best of aims. All three of his previous matches had ended up with both jousters on the ground where his strength carried the difference.
AH 3D+2b Fighting 4D+2b Endurance 4D+2b Full Plate Destrier
Goes High in Saddle, Aggressive+3, Heightened Stakes, Eyes Fixed and Brutal to represent him being a clumsy jouster that goes all in on the power. He's not so much a dishonorable jouster as someone that doesn't know how to control his strength.

So you're doubling up on the Heightened Stakes? (That's what HS in the dicecode would mean)

Oh no, sorry that’s not what I meant. My mistake in labelling, shall I reroll?

Ser Edric's reckless strategy helped him land a blow, but was likely to cost him the occupancy of his saddle. Few things come for free and sacrifices frequently must be made. You may want to not use that BoA, he's hopelessly off his horse, and you stay on yours, so no particular advantage in gaining a 3 DoS except maybe easier pass on opposition in the next round, maybe.

I realised the same, didn’t think it through so will withhold BotA if it’s ok with Narrator.

The lance hit him like a ballista and whilst it’s aim was not keen enough to force him out of his seat the sheer impact almost knocked him out cold. Titus’ attempt for showmanship had failed but when his vision cleared he realises that he had attleast brought Ser Edric from his horse.
Thank the gods for that, he would hardly have survived another pass.
