The precedent set for the knights of Longtable was not promising today. Those defending the honor of Megelle had been mostly successful in their efforts and Ser Daeron had no intention of breaking the streak. First though, he needed to know what he was up against. KYO Ser Narbert-Round 3: 3d6 10

Ser Narbert is a local sworn sword in Lord Eldon's service, not particularly remarkable. He looks determined and makes no motion to salute his opponent as he approaches upon his Destrier.

Daeron likewise gives no salute as he lowers his visor. This would not be a joust with the fraternal overtones common in tourneys. Without even acknowledging Shiera Woodwright whose favor he wore, Daeron simply slammed his fist above his heart. To most viewers it was nothing more than macho chest thumping, but to the more observant this was the place where Pate left his smith's mark. He kicks his horse into action charging at Ser Narbert coming at him full of piss and vinegar, but at the last moment he changes his position in the saddle to a more defensive one - a dramatic shift in tactics from his previous jousts and an attempt to throw his opponent off guard. However, it seemed that he played it too defensively, missing his opponent outright..

Wheeling around and reaching for another lance, Daeron finds that his squire isn’t quite ready with his next lance. Apparently he didn’t expect a second tilt either. Permitting himself a moment of levity, those in the front rows of the stands might have even heard him chuckle at the moment. His mirth was short-lived however as he gripped his lance and turned for the second tilt. “That’s what it feels like to break spears. It’s fun but fuck that mess, I want this bastard to end up in the mud.”This time he follows his traditional tactic of raw aggression, and wishes that he had taken his maester up on the offer of Milk of the Poppy. Noble, Eyes Fixed: 3#5d6k3+4 18 18 19 3#5d6k3 14 8 15 3#3d6 17 6 16Rolled everything by habit, but only first set matters anyhow, he gets in a 1 DoS, which is TN 13 with noble and heightened stakes...so with swords again. So that's 5 damage to you and 4 to him that ignores AR by my count, his CyB gives him all back, so you get a CyB and it's initiative time with swords drawn and 2 yards apart. The abrupt change in momentum was strange, one that Daeron still had not gotten used to, flying backwards as his horse moved forwards, but he imagined that he was more accustomed to it by this point than most other knights still in the tourney. Unlike with his second lance, his squire was prepared and had his sword at the ready. With a flourish he points his sword at the Longtable knight and braces himself for the inevitable charge. It's over for you, bastard.

I'm assuming you're not moving him anywhere. AR: 10 CD: 10 (7) Health: 9/9 Fatigue: 1/3
He does a defensive attack (for +3 defense), which he can't even threaten you with, then moves 2 yards away.

A splatter of blood across the dirt joined Daeron’s victorious roar, and for a moment it looked like a scene out of the fighting pits of Mehreen rather than a noble joust between knights. Daeron slams his fist on Master Pate’s smithing mark above his chest before addressing the crowd.
“Let this be a warning to any villains who would forsake the pursuit of justice and their knightly vows for a dishonorable lord.”
Not wanting to make more of a spectacle of things, he stalks off the field leaving Ser Narbert in the dirt, another ward for the overworked master of Longtable. After his ransom is collected, in a more private setting, he offer half, normally what goes into the Companions’ insurance pool, to master Pate as an attempt towards reparations.

So standard ransom consequence? (You could opt for death or maiming if you like).

(Just ransom, Daeron is a beast, not a monster. Also Narbert is just some NPC, not Eldon’s personal abductor.)
