Lord Willem dispenses with the finery he usually wears to a joust, instead he wears a single black tabard with a hammer hastily sewn on it's chest in honor of Megelle, whom happens to be the daughter of Kingsbridge's Master Smith, he has also replaced the favor of his wife with a white ribbon to represent her honor. Ser Bryce Goldstag makes no motion to salute him, and Willem does not give any sign of respect, contrary to his custom. The match is over before it has truly started, the crowds cheers as Ser Bryce the Blackguard as a growing number starts calling him is brought down like a ragdoll on the first tilt, the moniker catches on as he attempts to copy Ser Otho Bracken and aim for his opponent's head, but Lord Willem have jousted hundreds, perhaps thousands, of times, and sees it coming, countering with his shield and landing a solid blow of his own, though one Ser Bryce surely must have withstood many times before, but this time his skills fails him, or perhaps the warrior has abandoned him for his vile part in the desecration of a pure maiden. Lord Willem cares nothing for the well being of his opponent as he salutes Lord Tyrell and leaves the field.
