All Daeron does is win. The greatest Cinderella story since Cinderella. Move over Ser Daemon, we've found the rightful wielder of Blackfyre.

I know it's presumptuous to think I'll be on a team but looking forward to the 7 sided melee. Especially if it's against that insufferable Roland Cordwayner and his band of turncloaks (re: Blackbriars) and nobodies (re: Starkwoods).

Are bludgeons a no no in the melee, as in tradition and chivalry dictate it stays lance's and swords?

That was a trial of Seven, so a slightly different matter. However, a number of characters use axes/maces in various melees in the source material. For example, the melee at Bitterbridge concludes with Brienne's morningstar v Loras's longaxe. I'm not the narrator, but I suspect the line is more likely to be drawn at Vicious weapons. @balon - given what everyone has seen of your melee skills in the training matches I imagine you won't lack for takers! Ser Aegor Rivers seems a natural fit for narrative reasons, and you'll hopefully get a chance to settle some scores.

I imagine I'll have a part to play but that doesn't mean IC Balon won't screw it up at some point. I'm excited to test out LBF I & II since the home rules made them better than the hot-garbage they are in the corebook. Like you said I think as long as it isn't Vicious, come on down!

The melee doesn't really have restrictions, but show up with vicious weapons and: 1) You get a chivalry hit. 2) The other side is likely to swarm you and your allies are likely to leave you to fend for yourself.

I’m pretty sure that you can kill someone in the melee without a vicious weapon too, as is my plan if Ser Rennifer or Bryce end up in it.

Somewhat easier than killing someone in the joust without cheating.
Also, there's more than one Bryce. One is a charming old Lord, the other the Longtable version of Lord Alliser.

Lord Gormon Peake and Ser Imry Levalle are neck on neck with absolutely nothing to separate them in a thrilling match, in the seventh tilt, Ser Imry changes tack and employs very risky tactics, and through luck and skill, but probably mostly luck, manages to keep his seat and deliver such a strong blow that even the very good horsemanship of Lord Gormon cannot cope with it.
Imry Spends DP from round 7 for converting 1b into 1D and activates BoA for +2 on his round fighting test.
Really wants his old man to eat crow huh?

Gormon Peake is not the best jouster in the realm, no. But he was still very much right in that thread.
