Lord Leo Tyrell has decided to re-enact the Battle of the Prince's Pass, a resounding victory for the Reach over the Dornish during King Aegon IV's war, that little else was a success during that campaign seems not to have dampened his fond memories. The tourney field will be fitted with makeshift props, and it is whispered that more than three thousand of Highgarden's foot will take part in this lavish exercise, perhaps it is less about history and more about a show of force? But who then to lead these armies into mock battle?
Only knights with a positive chivalry score that have yet to be eliminated from the joust (meaning results in round 2 and 3 may invalidate your tests) are eligible to participate in this event. Spending a point of influence or a DP will circumvent this requirement.
To contest the command of the Reachmen: Status(Reputation)+Chivalry TN 15 Persuasion (Convince)+Chivalry TN 15 Warfare (Strategy) TN 9
To contest the command of the Dornish: Status(Reputation)+Chivalry TN 12 Persuasion (Convince)+Chivalry TN 12 Warfare (Strategy) TN 9
Note that there isn't any stigma attached to picking the Dornish side here, it is all in good sport, "everyone" expects the Reach to win and the enactment is likely to be stacked in the favor of history repeating itself, and that side will likely hold a greater number of high profile NPC's to socialize with. That being said, some might take the Dornish side hoping to score a point for King Daeron or have an easier path to a chance at glory.
Special benefit usage: Leader of Men: You may treat a single failed test as instead having rolled the TN exactly. Inspiring: You may re-roll any one of the three tests after you know the results of each and take the better result. Treacherous: You may substitute Persuasion(Convince) with Deception(Bluff) and Warfare (Strategy) with Deception(Act). Orator: applies to Persuasion.
Consequences: Pass all three tests: +1 Influence and you get to act as an officer in the battle enactment (sub-commander slot) for the side you chose. Highest total DoS for your chosen side: You will be given the command for your side in the battle-enactment. In the case of a tie, the matter will be settled by jousting. Commanders and officers will have a chance to win further rewards in the enactment event itself.
Twist: PC's taking part may throw friendly (taunt) or not so friendly (intimidate, incite) barbs at participating NPC's, using simple intrigue with a TN equal to their intrigue defense, orator applies, a not so friendly barb is at +1D, but lowers disposition towards you from the target by 1 per DoS, and may well result in challenges in the joust. The partaking NPC is treated as having scored one less DoS on his three tests for each one scored on your test (Only the highest result counts for any one NPC, PC's are encouraged to help each other to edge out the NPC competition).
DP, Glory and Influence: If you spend a DP, you gain +1D on all tests (may be done retroactively). A point of glory or influence spent before testing grants +1D on all tests.

Roland would normally have taken the Reachmen's side, given his own experience in war against the Dornish. However, following his conversation with Laena Pyre he feared further grotesque displays if one of Ser Daemon Blackfyre's false friends took up the Dornish cause. Better that they be represented by one who had truly fought against them, both to avoid further outrage and to underline that this was just in sport. After all, if one who had bled against the Dornish could take on their role on behalf of King Daeron's new allies, surely that would help control passions? Roland's deeds and personal reputation carried some weight for him, as did an uncharacteristically convincing speech. Together with a competent, albeit unspectacular, battle plan, such was enough to secure him at least a role as an officer. He lacked the cynicism to see how such an approach could be turned against him, given his historic gentle treatment of Dornish noble ladies taken in war. BoL Status TN12: 3d6+6 20 - 2 DoS BoL Persuasion TN12: 3d6+8 19 - 2 DoS BoL Warfare TN9: 4d6k3 9 - 1 DoS - 5 Total DoS - All three tests passed: +1 influence & role as an officer (sub-commander) for the Dornish side

"Leave Dorne for the Dornish. There are plenty of half-breeds here that can represent their true loyalties."Although it would have been easier for him to gain a position with the Dornish side, brotherhood in the Knightsbridge Companions meant that he would never take the easy road when it wasn't the right one, and who better to be one of the leaders of true Westerosi forces than one of the sons of Aegon IV? However, the constant throbbing in his head made it difficult for him to make his appeal to those making decisions. CrunchBurden of Leadership-Reachmen-Status (Reputation): 6d6k4+7 23 (forgot my +2 from Anointed, but -2 from Injuries) (2 DOS) Burden of Leadership-Reachmen-Persuasion (Convince): 6d6k4+7 26 (-2 from Injuries makes this 24, 2 DOS) Burden of Leadership-Reachmen-Warfare: 3d6 9 (-2 from Injuries makes this 7, so Simple Failure) Total of 4 DOS +1 Influence, sub-commander

The Burden of Leadership (Dornish) Status TN 12: 3d6+5 15 The Burden of Leadership (Dornish) Persuasion TN 12: 3d6+5 14 The Burden of Leadership (Dornish) Warfare TN 9: 4d6 7
Mikel decides to take up the cause of the Dornish as he feels it the best way to support his House in the current political climate. While all the countless hours of martial training had helped him to over come the effects of the milk of the poppy during the joust he was not so fortunate here. When reflecting on how things had gone afterwards all he could do was consider how he had only stood out when it came to embarrassing himself on discussing tactics, making even obvious and fundamental mistakes. Something which he had trouble shaking off considering it was one of his favorite subjects of study.

Using a point of Influence to gain 1D on all tests. Going for Dornish side. Leader of Men - Status (Reputation) +1D - vs. TN 12: 7d6k5+2 29 - Forgot to add Chivalry - 34 - 4 DoS Leader of Men - Persuasion (Convince) +1D - vs. TN 12: 5d6 15 - Forgot to add Chivalry - 20 - 2 DoS Leader of Men - Warfare +1D - vs. TN 9: 3d6 12 - 1 DoS Leader of Men - Warfare -1D from flaw should become a bonus dice, forgot to roll.: 1d6 4 - total becomes 15 vs 9 - 2 DoS Total DoS: 8 Gain +1 Influence and officer rank for side of Dornish. Aerion knew he'd be invited to partake in the battle; Lord Leo had all but confirmed it but a few days ago. Still, he wasn't sure which side he would choose. It would be nice to fight side by side with a few of the important people likely to be on the good side, but fighting for the store of Dorne would give him a better experience He could lead the whole army, if they attack the deck to high on one side. What a chance at glory. Even though he intends to win, he is expected to lose in the end. Either outcome is likely to bring him more fame. Ultimately, he offers his sword for Dorne, and expects they will give him an important position.

Spending 1 Influence to enter event. Spending 1 Glory for +1D to rolls.
Burden of Leadership (w/ Glory) Status, Persuasion, Warfare: 2#4d6+3 12 18 4d6 16 Status TN 12 = 1 DoS Persuasion TN 12 = 2 DoS Warfare TN 9 = 2 DoS Total = 5 DoS Burden of Leadership (w/ Glory) Dorne - Status, Persuasion, Warfare: 2#4d6+3 15 17 4d6 12Status TN 12 = 1 DoS Persuasion TN 12 = 2 DoS Warfare TN 9 = 1 DoS Total = 4 DoS +1 Influence, role as an officer for Dornish side. It was no secret Balon was prejudicial against Dorne. Everything from their customs to their gross olive skin disgusted him. It was with a delicious sense of irony that he chose to represent the Dornish side in the battle re-enactment. Stupid Dornish need a proper Reachmen to lead them in battle. Even if it was "fake" Balon wanted to be an officer and perform well so choosing the lesser side seemed to be the best way to go about it.

Lord Tyrell might have hoped for a battle of minds between the former and present master at arms of the Red Keep, but Ser Quentyn had been unhorsed at the lance of Ser Roland Cordwayner and Ser Walton had tragically died in a tourney mishap. Ser Aegor Rivers, another leader of some renown have also been unhorsed. Another man the Blackfyre supporters had hoped to demonstrate his ability being Lord Dunstan Shawney, but he went out of the competition in round 3. Others of note that are barred due to their premature unhorsing are Lord Walgrave Oakheart, sure to make a big scene about how proper Reachmen would seek the trashing of the Dornish, and of course, Ser Robb Reyne, the Red Lion of Castamere, another man held in high regard and surely one that Bittersteel had hoped to show the Reach which side has the finest commanders. But alas, the squabble of Ladies Amerei and Tanda had him face Lord Marq Durwell in a fine match, but sadly for the Red Lion, fortune favored his opponent this day. Ser Aemon with a bandaged forehead is not at his best, but represents himself very well regardless. Lord Karl Willum also joins in, drawn to the allure of the underdog. On the side of the Reachmen, it is Lords Bridges and Durwell that steals the show, old Lord Bryce thumps himself on the chest with his tales of heroism and victories back when Lord Marq was suckling on the teat, but Lord Durwell delivers a shattering rebuke about how only one who lives in a glorified version of the past would omit the little detail about how the war could be such a crushing defeat. Bryce mutters something to himself, but decides against arguing the point. Aemon for Dorne: 8d6k5+3 24 6d6k4+1 18 5d6k4-2 17Attractive Reroll: 2d6 77 DoS, ID:16 Bryce for the Reach: 8d6k5+2 25 6d6k5+2 26 4d6k3 94(7) DoS, ID: 15 Marq for the Reach: 8d6k5+3 22 8d6k5+3 24 4d6k3 12Attractive Reroll: 3d6 115 DoS, ID 16 Karl for Dorne: 7d6k5+3 18 5d6k4+3 22 4d6k3 136 DoS, ID 14 Twist: Marq taunts Bryce: 8d6k5+3 28 bringing his DoS down to 4 (for consideration of commander slot), Bryce decides against retaliating because a 50% chance of having to face him in round 4 is not very appealing. Karl/Aemon NPC's doesn't do the taunting game because on the Dornish side, Aerion is a PC and in the lead. But they are taunting IC because it's good sport. Presently Marq with 5 DoS is in the lead for the Reachmen.

[Uhm, you're going to have to reroll all of that (though you may chose not to use DP if new results are satisfactory without), as does Balon, since neither of you specified a side in the dice descriptions (those putting the TN in there is fine, as that signals side just as much)]
