Titus was in great mood. He had just returned Spring to the stables after participating in the horse race and was to join up with Balon for the Stone Throwing when he found himself looking into a pair of purple, valerian eyes.
Lady Deana Flowers, the maiden who’s honor he was going to ride against Ser Humfrey for later today was walking but a few yards away from him. There hadn’t been an official introduction between the two, apart from their short exchange at the parade two days ago. Titus couldn’t help it and didn’t want to admit it, but he hadn’t been able to let go of the picture of Lady Deana sitting in the stalls. Her eyes and her smile.
Unsure if she had seen him yet, Titus makes his way through the crowd and approaches her. He is polite but has a certain swagger about him after the Horse Race.
And it is a beautiful day.
[OOC: Unsure if she would attend with or without an entourage/chaperone so I leave that unsaid]

Lady Daena has a handmaiden with her, though she quickly finds a respectable distance to be at when Ser Titus approaches. There are a few similarities with her half-brother, Lord Durwell, though she have the Targaryen lilac eyes and platinum hair, but they share many facial features through their mother. After the death of the previous Lord Durwell, King Aegon IV had "consoled" the widow. By all accounts, Lord Marq treated her as he would a trueborn sister, his other siblings were all brothers and closer to him in age.

"My Lady" he started, but quickly realised that he hadn't planned this out. At all. So he smiled. "I believe a proper introduction was never made. My name is Titus Blackbriar." He bowed courteously. "I am at your service."

"It is a pleasure, Ser Titus." She gives a warm smile. "I was on my way to the stands, but it appears that only unproven knights are jousting this early." By which she means bastards, mystery knights and the hedge.

"You sound disappointed my Lady. Surely one of the most exciting things about a tourney is the mystery knights! At least it was for me as a boy." On her smiling Titus crosses his hands behinds his back, not knowing what to do with them. "But perhaps I should be grateful. Had it not been for that, I might not have been lucky enough to run into you here." He was attempting flattery but cringed slightly at himself, he shifts slightly to the side, indicating no desire to block her path. "Are you enjoying the Smallfolk's Tournament, my lady?"

"I must confess that I did not watch it, ser." Daena makes an apologetic face. "Did you compete by chance?"

"Aye, my lady. My Palfrey, Spring, just carried me through the races. He ran well!" The rush of the races was still with him and he grew excited speaking about it, smiling broadly. Catching himself, he clears his throat. "Do you enjoy riding, my lady?" Any potentially sexual interpretation of that question is lost to the young knight.

"I can't say I have acquired the same taste for it as others, ser." It is not lost on her, and she replies in a way that would answer both versions of the question. "Funny that, I sometimes think that my three brothers might have spent more years on horseback if you add it all together than I have lived, but that has probably not been true for a long time. And I only ride when I need to."

“A shame, my lady. I can find castle walls to be so stifling at times and nothing gives a sense of freedom more than when atop a horse.” He never didn’t have a knack for speaking to ladies, not like Balon, so he spoke about what he knew. “Not quite Aegon on Balerion but the closest one can get I suppose”
He chuckles at the jest regarding her brother’s. “I can imagine, it would be an honour to ride against knights of such skill as your brothers.” He notes that despite being a bastard, Lady Deana spoke with close familiarity about her brother as if they where all true-born brothers and sisters.
“But perhaps that would be to my own misfortune” he offers with a smile and polite bow. “Also... I believe I have another tilt before me today.”
————————— [OOC: Titus just wants to make a good first impression on the lady for now, but doesn’t want to delay her or push past whats concidered proper. I’ll happily keep conversation going but don’t think Intruige or the like is needed/necessary for it, so it can end whenever]

"I suppose that a knight might not find much pleasure in needlework and the high harp" She suggests. "Or discuss politics with my brother, once you get him started, he will never shut up, he is always looking for some game worth playing, sometimes just for their own sake."
"He was hoping that he might observe your just with Ser Humfrey, something about wanting to see if the younger son also had it in him. Me? I just want the best man to win is all."

“Then I hope I will not dissapoint you or your brother” Not wanting to impose further, Titus takes a step back and bows.
“I shall see you in the stands, My Lady.”

"You better, ser." Daena throws a remark which could be interpreted in any myriad of ways. "I do so dislike disappointment"
