Unsurprisingly, Lord Tyrell's reception had lasted late into the evening. Finally the Lord Paramount of the Mander had had his fill of pomp and circumstance and retired for the night. Ser Balon had been anxiously anticipating this as his mind had been fixated on what was to come. Men and women began to file out in earnest and Balon joined them after draining the remaining contents of his cup. Doing his best to blend in, Balon kept his head down and spoke to no one if possible. His attire fortuitously had no markings signifying he was a member of House Blackbriar. As far as anyone was concerned, he was a nobody.
As he walked down river to Gardenton Balon thought a great deal about Lady Jeyne. Not only her physical qualities but her reason for the secret rendezvous. Whenever his conscious began to nag at him, to tell him it wasn't too late and to turn back, he'd picture Jeyne when she first introduced herself and the doubt would disappear. The only way to find out what she wanted was to go to the Perfumed Lady. Even at night Gardenton was quite the sight. Balon had been in King's Landing and Oldtown and the cleanliness of Gardeton was second to none. It was a town that Balon wanted to explore and visit the master crafstmen. Perhaps he could find a horse for sale from Cider Hall. But for now he remained singular in his task.
Balon felt an unexpected bout of paranoia hit him so he doubled back once or twice and walked up and down several parallel streets before coming to the Perfumed Lady. He stood on the opposite side of the street, cloaked in shadow, staring at the pillow house. He'd heard quite a bit about the place but never had a desire to go in until now. He gauged he'd spent enough time outside to seem like he didn't rush over and walked in. His nose was hit with exotic sweet smells. His eye were stunned at what he assumed were Lyseni beauties. And his ears were regaled with a high harp. A man could bankrupt himself here in a day.
Looking around he waited to be greeted by a host. A lovely woman came up to him and bowed as if he was a lord, "Welcome to the Perfumed Lady. How may I serve you today." Balon smiled, "Good evening, my name is Ser Serwyn."

The hostess is indeed lovely, with platinum hair and enough of an accent to be exotic, and where Jeyne and some other ladies had been balancing on the edge of propriety in the Great Hall, her outfit of blue silk is positively scandalous, concealing only so much as to almost make the sight of her more tantalizing than if she had been naked. Balon notes four burly guards in the entrance chamber, and more inside. The Perfumed Lady is among the biggest houses he have ever seen, though it fails to compare with the palatial halls and corridors of Highgarden, he is lead through a hallway evading the main room, as if this section is built with anonymity in mind. He is shown through the second door, finding what looks like a lord's bedroom, only that the stone floor is smooth and freshly cleaned, there is also a table with a brass basin with hot water, there's sponge, soap and clean piece of linen next to it. The hostess informs him that they expect their other guest to be delayed, and there were left specific instructions that he were to receive a thorough scrubbing, before the mistress arrival, she were otherwise told to entertain him while he waited, but strictly forbidden to stimulate his member any more than is necessary to make it clean. Some time passes, but Balon is not likely to notice, as "Rhaenyra" is practiced in many arts, dancing, singing, storytelling, conversation and massaging tension out of the limbs among them. Eventually, a hooded figure enters through a door behind the tapestry. The hostess quickly disappears through the same way, taking any clothes that might have come lose along with her. Jeyne waits until the door confirms that it is closed with a clicking noise before dropping her cloak to the floor, she wears a simple rough-spun dress reaching to just above the knee, the sort a peasant woman might wear in the field during summer, she quickly kicks off a pair of boots that a farmer's daughter might be wearing, all of it seeming rather brand new and unused. "I am presuming ser, that your continued presence is a sign of consent as to that which I am about to do unto you?" She moves to wrap her arms around his neck and seal the deal with a kiss. [This is more or less where we'll be skipping to the conversation afterwards if Balon doesn't get cold feet.]

Balon stared at the hostess and what laid beneath the blue dress. Unlike the Tyrell reception Balon didn't have to hide his leers. If this is what the women of Lys look like I need to win a few major tournaments and retire there. He followed her down the side hallway and as they walked he felt less like a knight and more like an underhanded rogue. Balon acknowledged the hostess' instructions and stripped nude, allowing himself to be scrubbed by the woman. When she made it to his nether regions he closed his eyes and tried to distract himself. Old women... Dornishmen... Abelar... Once clean Balon remained shirtless but put on some clean small clothes.
While he waited he had the woman massage his back and neck and when his muscles were loose and relaxed he had her dance for him. As he watched her doubt began to fill his mind. What am I doing here? This is a sin. Will the Seven damn my soul for this? But the Targaryens practice incest. How is that any worse? With Lady Jeyne's arrival Balon stood up, straight as an arrow, with his chest puffed out slightly. When she came over and kissed him all doubt left his mind. He picked her up and carried her over to the bed.
_______
Afterwards Balon laid on the bed breathing heavily. Whatever came after, whatever Jeyne had planned for him, he'd never regret what they'd done. Running his fingers through her red hair Balon stared up at the ceiling. Quietly he asked, "While we rest shall we continue our conversation from earlier? Or is it just my body you're after?"

"A woman has needs, and my husband has...hmm, performance issues." She licks her lips seductively. "Both in pleasure as well as business, as it happens, I need a man that can satisfy my desires in bed and with the will to spill the blood of my enemies." She sits herself up, slowly moving into position to have another round of pleasure. "I was hoping that you might grant me such satisfaction for the short time that Lord Tyrell have provided for us to be together, ser."[If it's necessary for her to initiate intrigue: Objective: All she wants to ask right now is for Balon to badmouth a specific Dornishman so savagely and openly that his name will enter the day 2 rumor mill, using the status to dice roll option, also making it a pro-fire test in the fire and blood system if other players in Blackbriar doesn't want to make any contributions, not retract those statements (almost certainly ensuring a matchup in the joust, Balon is objectively a more capable knight, so odds are he'll consider it easy to win) and then meet her again tomorrow. Alternative objective: If no intrigue is needed to make Balon commit to the above, and he wants her to do something in return, intrigue can be engaged where she'll do a standard charming routine for better disposition. When Jeyne sat up and straddled Balon he began to lightly stroke her thighs with his thumbs as she talked. He was staring at her beautiful body but then forced himself to make eye contact less he hear nothing she said. There was a visible disdain on Balon's face when the Dornishman was mentioned otherwise his face was calm as she laid out her request. With her offer concluded Balon responded without hesitation, "If he," Balon refused to use the word husband, "has performance issues with you when it comes to pleasure then he's no man." A predatory smile formed on his face, "You have yourself a champion, my lady. The Dornish are filth and I will tarnish this man's name until he wishes for death." Balon's hands moved up her thighs subconsciously as he grew excited at the prospect of humiliating the Dornish. "And if he is foolish enough to challenge me he'll live to regret it." Balon was ready for another round but added quickly, "I only ask you keep your ears open to the whispers of others. I want to ensure if someone is coming for me or disparaging me I know about it." OOC: No Intrigue is needed. Sex and destroying Dornishmen. It's like a Westerosi Christmas to Balon. Intrigue Initiative, Jeyne, Perfumed Lady: 3d6k3+2 8Intrigue Defense: 11 DR: 4 Composure: 11 *included Chivalry modifier of +2* Alternative Objective: If an intrigue is needed Balon would like Jeyne to keep her ears open for rumors/plots against me as a result of this public bashing.

"Most excellent, I have the most wicked designs for Ser Walton Wyl, you see." A familiar name to Ser Balon, the Dornishman had replaced Fireball as master at arms at the red keep, and Ser Quentyn had been very much critical of the appointment, part of the festering sore of the Red Keep that King Daeron kept adding to. "Lord Willum is no doubt at the inn, drinking heavily, a few well placed words about his many failings in such company, the whorehouse that spawned him, his wantom dornish wife that makes him a cuckold for example, or some other thing suggesting that he shames the Red Keep with his very nature, loudly repeated if so needed, should suffice." Her desire is an invitation to a challenge in the joust if there ever was one, Balon have seen Ser Walton at the lists, his aim with the lance is strong, but Balon is the better horseman by far. You watch my backside and I'll watch yours? And considering how hard you were gripping mine earlier that shouldn't be a problem." Balon flipped her over so he was on top of her now. "You keep the knives out of my back and I will lay waste to all in front of me." The eager knight was trying to get Jeyne to see him as more than a blunt instrument to be used.

"Poor ser with the ache in his back, they offer massages for that in this place, the big dark man does it best." Jeyne says with faux mockery. I'd go back and edit (lowering ID instead of DR) but we both know how this intrigue ends.
As Balon looked into her eyes he found his wanton desire staring back. His concern on potential dangers to come were replaced by his carnal thoughts. He relented, "And my eyes only see you Jeyne." He felt the briefest twinge using her first name only, "But enough talk. I have other uses for my mouth right now." Balon gave a knowing smile as they began anew.
Action: Yield
+1D for her next intrigue and +x for each disposition. Guessing +2 for her and +1/2 for me. Alternatively +1 to start (for me) and upgraded to +2 if I wreck Walton's day in the joust. These new intrigue rules seems a little more fluid. Let me know what you think.

The second round was over somewhat quickly or so it felt. Jeyne then made over to the basin to wash off his smell and sweat she should not be having, she did have a husband after all. Oh, and before she forgot, she had a little something for him, a mask to be precise, a rather elaborate one that would cover his entire face, with movable parts so that he might eat without taking it off. She had a mind to meet up again during tomorrow's masquerade ball, and finding him would be so much easier if she knew what to look for.
[Done +2 disposition all around and +1D to her next intrigue, and let's call it a scene]
