Lord Leygood was off to a bad start and he knows it, perhaps in The Reach his station and name would carry him beyond such setbacks, but not so in The Westerlands, a display of skill was likely needed to progress, and he had simply not delivered. And thus he resorts to the very things which have made this format popular, the need to take excess risk to chase an upset victory, which he does by tapping Ser Sebaston's shield, looking a little wobbly and out of his depths on the first tilt, but regains his composure and form for the second tilt, and on the third, they both trade solid blows, but prodigy of Goldengrove falls off his seat to cheers and the satisfaction of knowing he now cannot be passed over for the finals. Lord Roland's other matches are unremarkable, perhaps even disappointing, leading some to think he is not likely to get very far. Roland HiS: 3#5d6k3+10 24 26 27 3#6d6k4-2 11 15 15 3#4d6 12 15 21Sebaston N: 3#6d6k4+7 23 19 27 3#6d6k4 16 18 12 3#4d6 13 14 19Should be easy enough to use rumor shenanigans to start a tale about the power of a lady's favor...although, progressing deep into the knockouts probably makes that have more of an impact. Qualified, so just rolling the last sets with little fanfare: Round 3, 3 then 4,+4 from round 2: 3#5d6k3+8 20 23 18 3#6d6k4+3 23 18 23Vs last rank 3: Draw Vs other rank 2's: Win, Draw.
