Ser Titus was a good knight and a great jouster and Daeron knew that this would likely be his toughest match of the tourney (as long as he wasn't matched up with another from Kingsbridge at least). He hailed his honorable friend and flashed a smile, it was nice to see an ally and Ser Titus was far better company than his fearsome, but loutish, brother. However, once he shut his helm he became just another opponent, one who was looking a little too comfortable in his saddle.

Ser Titus is perhaps a little complacent in his bid for a quick end to the joust, which may have given Daeron an upset in the second round, but the Blackbriar knight seems to stiffen up for the third tilt. Many in the crowd would later note that it was neither knight's best performance at the lists. Perhaps Ser Daeron was mentally preoccupied by his upcoming joust against a dangerous blackguard or maybe Ser Titus was overconfident. Either way, it didn't ultimately matter as the Blackbriar knight was talented enough to emerge victorious from his middling performance.

*Part II*
Daeron couldn't help but notice that the audience who had just been wildly cheering on the entrance of young Ser Titus was mostly silent for his entrance. He would have liked to think that it was because he was the underdog in this match, but the fact that he still had some streaks of Ser Byron's blood still smeared under his armor might have had more to do with it. It had taken only 24 hours for him to turn from the hero for standing against Rennifer to the knave for going overboard in his duel against Ser Byron. Even if he hadn't been seriously injured Ser Titus would be a formidable challenge, but in his current battered condition only the Warrior himself could grant him victory.
Milk of the Poppy to reduce the impact of his wound and injuries, still a -2 to all of his rolls. PR: 19 AR: 13 HP: 12/12 W/I/F: 1/4/0 TT-Nightsong vs Titus-Noble, EF, HS; SiS; CYB: 3#7d6k4+6 27 18 26 3#6d6k4-1 15 18 16 3#4d6-2 14 6 12

Noting Daeron's approach and well aware of his reputation, Ser Titus takes a far more cautious tactic than before, relying on his superior horsemanship to give him the victory.

With a sickening crack that could be heard by everyone in the front rows, Ser Titus unintentionally finished the job that Rennifer started breaking Wildfyre’s leg and eliciting a howl of rage and pain.
On any other day such an injury would have elicited an outpouring of sympathy for the Starling knight, but he rode too recklessly for a man who should have withdrawn from the tourney altogether. Still others in the crowd heckled him as his squire drug him from the lists as he was served his just desserts for killing Ser Byron earlier.
He takes a wound and is soundly defeated.
