Let's see: 8k5, Talented effecitvely+1b, aim is +1b, reckless is +1D, Bastard sword is -1b (so removes a rolled die), meaning that the roll should be 10k6, so you roll another die and hope it's 4+.
As it stands, the next die to be added is a 3, bringing you up to 29 which is one short of 4 DoS which you probably need.

I'm pleasantly surprised I hadn't made a larger mistake! I'm fine with that, especially as it's my mistake. Mikel will happily bear the burden of my shortcoming!
I also am happy to get this to resolution one way or the other so that things can move forward. Before Mikel eats his next whallop, taking wounds is not allowed in the melee or socially frowned up? I feel like I remember seeing that but I didn't seem it when I was trying to locate it.

Although not entirely unfazed, Ser Aubrey is disciplined, patient and steadfast, answering Mikel's aggressiveness with maneuvering for better angles and taking advantage of the openings offered to him by his adversary.
Aubrey CD: 17 (14) AR: 11 Health: 3/12 Maneuver+Cautious Attack: 9d6k5+3 24 9d6k4+3 26That would be another 4 DoS for 24-11=13 damage. People can take wounds, but most will tend towards yielding instead of taking things that far because all you're going to accomplish is to take your opponent out of the contest for victory after your chances are gone.
