(This scene takes place at Harrenhaal during the Peace in our Time event)Robyn knew that his personal goals were lofty, and would more than likely earn him a very powerful enemy in the form of House Tarly even if he didnt succeed in securing a trial against Simon. He was only one knight, and one knight calling for action against injustice meant nothing if the room was full of cowards too afraid to admit injustice had occurred. And, in just being one knight, it meant that it only took one night to dispose of him and that call for justice. So, he was going to need help, and preferably help that would overlook his bloodline and share the values that Robyn held. Looking over the crowd at those gathered, Redwolf was disappointed at the prospects. Too many were prejudiced, too few were chivalrous, and they all had more notoriety than renown. That was until his eyes landed on Daemon Blackfyre. Robyn's jaw went slightly agape, and he went back and forth between staring at the man and the sword for a few seconds before closing his mouth and looking around for Ser Daeron. Their conversation left on good terms, or at least it did in Robyn's eyes, and despite the amount of wine he drowned himself in both during and after the conversation, he remembered something about an introduction being promised. Finding him, Robyn's feet nearly sprinted before being reigned into a brisk walk. Despite the tensions that still hung in the air, Robyn kept a calm and focused demeanor as he approached where Wildfyre was standing. There were doubtlessly many in attendance who watched with quizzical and disapproving stares, but the smile he wore gave no sign of faltering through whatever animosity was directed towards him. Giving a small bow, one that mirrored the one he gave before leaving the tent that Ser Daeron called home during his recovery, his tone matched his expression, "Hail, friend, Ser Wildfyre, if I had wine I would offer some," Robyn tilted his head in the direction of Blackfyre, excitement slipping past his teeth, "If you arent too busy at the moment with the treaty, I was wondering if you could facilitate a meeting between myself and Ser Daemon? I am in need of his help with something that might be... big," He doesnt elaborate past that, but hopes that Daeron was true to his word.
Holding off on the Audience test. Still not sure if Daeron should roll, or if I should roll and he provide assist bonus?

Holding up his hand in greeting, Ser Daeron's appearance is much improved over the last time that Ser Robyn saw him. Admittedly that was not a high bar for improvement. "Ser Robyn, I was wondering if I would see you here. I figured that you would be off rescuing maidens or the like rather than becoming too immersed in politics."Upon hearing his request though, his friendly smirk opened into a boyish grin. "I knew you would come around. Come, let me introduce you to the finest knight in the realm."

Striding through the gathered throngs, Ser Daeron hails the most impressive of his many siblings. "Ser Daemon, if you have a moment I'd like to introduce you to a young knight, Ser Robyn of House Starkwood. He's the one who managed to rescue Lady Falyse Blackbar from certain doom at no small risk to himself at that. Ser Robyn, this is Ser Daemon Blackfyre, son of King Aegon IV and wielder of the Valyrian Steel blade that shares his name. Some call him the Warrior Reborn, some call him 'brother', I like to think of him as both."

Daemon had of course heard of Ser Robyn, though mainly of his victory at Warrior's Seat, being first over the walls and opening the gate is glorious enough, but besting a foe such as Ser Otho would make the feat truly worthy of song. He had heard of Lord Blackbar's terrible demise in passing, though he does not remember being told of this rescue? A cynic might suspect that someone had omitted the details of Robyn's heroics for their own partisan ends when sending word of the assassination of Lord Blackbar with wife and heir.

Daeron continues to lay it on thick, hoping to build up both men in the others' eyes.
"Oh yes, he earned his spurs for rescuing Lady Falyse from a similarly gruesome fate. Though he is young, I expect him to be one of the finest knights of the Reach with a few more years of experience... and the right kind of guidance of course."
He turns to Ser Robyn with a broad smile.
"Perhaps once you grow tired of serving tree-worshippers or languishing in damp backwoods Ser Daemon might have room for a fine young knight in his holdfast? You'll be hard-pressed to find a more gallant man to follow."

The fact that Daemon had even heard of Robyn's exploits was enough fuel Robyn's pride needed to stir up a fire in his chest. His excitement was now one part boyish wonder, another part glory-hound, and while he was able to mostly contain it in his tone, his face was alight and beaming, "I am sure there are many heroic exploits you have performed that I do not know of; though, when I can think of at least a dozen of yours in an instant, all individually worthy of song, it is no wonder some get lost or drowned out by others,"
He chuckles gently as Daeron lays it on thicker, raising a defensive hand, "While that is certainly an honor I would graciously accept, the meeting I intended for has a more... pressing issue. But, should such an offer be on the table, let's move it to the side for later," Robyn lowered his his hand, looking into Daemon's eyes. All the excitement shifted to intense focus, and the fire in his chest now roared with a fire for justice, "If what occurred in the Riverlands is not unknown to you, then I have a question: do you, as I do, wish to see Simon Tarly face justice for his heinous deeds?"

Did he not already stand trial for them? How exactly could anyone intercede now? Blackfyre appears uncomfortable with the subject, obviously familiar with it, but how familiar is hard to say.

Robyn shook his head, a sharp bitterness in his words, “No such trial occurred. While there was a call for it, and Lord Blackwood seemed keen to have Simon face justice…” His words faded as he shook his head, sighing deeply, “*Something* stopped it from happening, and he was set free,”
“Make no mistake, ser: Simon is guilty of what those girls accused him of. I was at the testimony, I saw their tears, I heard it from their mouths. They were not lying, and there isn’t a soul in the Reach that hasn’t heard of Simon’s fierce disregard for morals. Despite aligning myself with the Blackwood cause, I care not for the politics: their Bracken blood doesn’t change the fact that any who would allow or partake in their rape lacks honor.
“Simon Tarly lacks honor.” Robyn was firm in his delivery, “I wish to see that his actions do not go unpunished. I wish to see justice for those girls. The Blackwoods have already proven that they are incapable of doing so, which leaves one option.”
“The Kings Justice.”
He stood taller, the boyish charm fading as Robyn was no longer flustered, “Wildfyre speaks very highly of you, ser. The Realm speaks very highly of you, and while we have only just met, I pray that they are correct in their description of you,” Robyn gave a quick glance to Wildfyre as he spoke, “Just, chivalrous, and understands what it means to be a knight,” He looked back to Blackfyre, “You are a paragon of honor, and a call for a trail from you would do more than any other voice here,”
“This hall is filled with men seeking to claim land and glory and play at a treaty that will inevitably be broken. I seek justice for two who were unable to get it for themselves. They deserve justice, Ser Daemon, and I am asking you to help me get it for them,”

"But Ser Simon was acquitted of the charges in a proper trial, no?" Ser Daemon wonders, as if Robyn suggested the Blackwoods had simply dispensed with it. "The ladies were given no opportunity to demand trial by combat?"

"The trial that occurred at Raventree was a farce," Robyn's nose curls as his face scrunches into a scowl, "Whatever push there was for punishment faded before it took place. The testimony the girls gave there was not the one they gave prior, in fact it completely omitted any involvement that Simon had, which leads me to believe that someone forced them to remain silent about his egregious actions,"
He crossed his arms, looking back at the Blackwood forces as he shook his head, "Acquitted and innocent are two very different things: innocent is something Simon never was, the other keeps Lord Tarly placated. The Blackwoods knew his guilt and favored his father over justice," He turned to Blackfyre, "To them, Ladies Jeyne and Sarra Bracken are nothing more than collateral damage that needed to be silenced with coin or threatened with violence. It makes me sick."
"Which is why I need your help in securing the King's Justice. Are you contented in your honor knowing he was acquitted? Are you satisfied that he stood trial against a testimony that was altered? Against evidence that was clouded by courtly courtesies?" Robyn narrowed his gaze, "If it is so, Blackfyre, then I have misinterpreted you entirely."
A call for justice. Robyn was not an adept negotiator, but someone with such a legendary reputation must hold other's opinions in high regard. If Blackfyre saw it as he did, then Robyn would be both surprised and reassured that not everyone is playing for politics and some knights still favor honor. More than likely, though, Ser Daemon was just another player looking for favors, and Robyn had an offer should one be asked for.
But it is better to keep that as a last resort and test his virtue first.

"An honorable man cannot simply act without evidence" Blackfyre sighs. "While I would believe you, wicked tongues would have it that Ser Balon provoked this war by raiding Riverthorn and putting Lord Blackwood's paramour and unborn child to the sword, but Ser Aegor calls that the lies of our brother, a knight himself"
"The king would overstep his authority, Lord Blackwood holds the right to pit and gallows on his lands, what you seek seems impossible"

Robyn glances to the Bracken family once more, searching as he spoke, "If the Riverlands have taught me anything, it is that what seems impossible can be achieved if brave men take a stand. The taking of Warrior's Seat was nearly over before it began, as alarms rang before we made it halfway up the wall,"
"But we pushed on, stormed a castle that knew we were coming, threw open the gate and defeated Otho in the following battle. All of which seemed impossible," He turned back to Ser Daemon, "And yet, even a legend like yourself knew of the siege before you met those who accomplished it."
"There is evidence for Simon's deeds, and those who can give are not in this room," He gestured to the Bracken side, "Do you think it is a coincidence that some prisoners were released and brought here and they were left at Raventree? Even Wildfyre here; we met after his melee against the Roughneck and he was taken prisoner. Yet he is free to walk and talk here. Why would they release some prisoners, and keep the two girls?" Robyn glanced to Wildfyre as he made this argument, "As I said, the testimony they gave at the trial was not the one they gave originally. The *only* reason they were kept was to prevent the truth from coming to the light. If you do not believe me, then why would they not be here?"
"Call out this discrepancy. Ladies Jeyne and Sarra Bracken are locked in a tower, what threat could they possibly pose that would prevent them from reuniting with their family? Were they not victims of this feud? Haven't they suffered enough?" Robyn's words come from hot breath and a furrowed brow of disgust, "The Blackwoods would be forced to answer, though no reason that I can imagine is justification for this. With the truth exposed, there is cause for a new trial, and the potential to punish whoever caused them to change their story as well as Simon. Surely the King would have the authority to oversee a trial then, seeing as how Lord Blackwood failed in his obligation?"

"Perhaps, ser" Daemon explains patiently. "Because they are Brackens and thus have value as hostages to be bartered for land or other concessions, while my brother here there is no reason to hold for such a purpose, and thus his freedom may be bought with coin"

Oh. Right.
Robyn maintained his composure, but that was certainly an acceptable reason for them to not be here, "True... Yet, if they were going to use them as a bargaining chip, would it not be more effective to bring them along?
"Is there anything I can do to convince you? The evidence I have is the suspicious lack of evidence," And potentially Uncle Davos, but Robyn had yet to talk to him about the trial in detail, "But all who were in attendance knew something was amiss. If I seek the kings justice alone, nothing will be done."
"What is it that you seek, Ser Daemon?"

"We all seek for things we cannot have, ser." Daemon seems a little sad. "Peace, honor, prosperity, an end to all hate"
"House Blackwood have no reason to bring them here, I would assume they are more easily held at Raventree, only to be released upon agreement. A lord may be unjust, but that is unfortunately his right. It is sometimes left to The Father to right such wrongs in the world beyond this one."

"Perhaps.." Daeron begins to mutter out loud, a twinkle in his eye as an idea begins to form. "Perhaps there is a path to obtaining some form of justice here, maybe not what is fully deserved, but a measure of justice is better than no justice."
He looks over at Robyn, "We can all agree that the Blackwoods continuing to hold the Bracken girls is a terrible violation of the laws of war. They were horribly violated while in Blackwood custody, regardless of whom they might claim to be responsible. Common decency and chivalry demands that they be released without a ransom, lest they suffer additional assaults. Now Lord Blackwood has no reason to listen to me, I've just spent the last few months fighting against him and his house, but he might be willing to listen to you Ser Robyn. You fought honorably for his cause and have proven yourself to be an ally to his family, a friend will have an easier time convincing him to do the right thing rather than an enemy.
Failing that, you've been to Raventree Hall and are trusted to wander its halls freely should you be so inspired to rescue some maidens..
As for Ser Simon, if he can be said to deserve that title, he will be difficult to prosecute. The Tarlys are powerful and politically neutral, so it would take both Brackens and Blackwoods agreeing to seek the King's justice." And I doubt that either side will be willing to cooperate openly to punish him, not while risking Lord Tarly's ire.
