Rumor spreadsheet cleaned up, decided to arbitrarily determine which ones are supposed to be public and will have them all dropped into the rumor reveal for Oldtown, not bothering to check if they've been previously been made public or not, easier that way. The "knows of it" column presently blank (which isn't totally ideal, but have to start somewhere).
Most of them have "gossips" as the source. Should maybe track investigations TN etc when relevant.....so many columns to add.

Shouldn't be any new information plotted into fire and blood threads, just cleaning up the recordkeeping.

I'm going to agree with Roland that knowing when DPs refresh would be nice. I understand having an unknown element to the game but DPs maybe shouldn't be part of it.
And I think it'd be a huge mistake to not have the war in some manner. A multiyear build up to the Blackfyre rebellion only to skip it? That seems hugely anticlimactic to me. I also acknowledge that larger scale combat is a problem but I think progress was made in the Riverlands on how battles can be handled.

It does require that I manage to make it interesting for everyone, which I have some doubts on currently.

It does require that I manage to make it interesting for everyone, which I have some doubts on currently. Definitely a struggle, but I don't think it's all that different from a tourney, just on a different time scale, weeks or months instead of days. War counsels & pivotal battles replace jousts and melees, and social events for the schemers which might have some impact on the upcoming battles, but definitely allow for the continuation of 'local' politics and personal/house goals. Maybe have a mechanic where the heavily injured are sent home to recuperate (and thus switch from the 'martial' track to the 'social' track. I think it would be completely reasonable for either: a) you to decide the final outcome of the war based on prior events and established canon, and we are basically just jockeying for post-war rewards; or b) have the entire war pivot on the war in the Reach - If the Blood forces win it plays out like canon history, but if the Fire forces win, they go on to clash with Price Baelor, preventing him from getting to Redgrass Fields in time. Bittersteel captures the now poorly-defended King's Landing, and the 7-year old Daemon II continues on to take Kings Landing and crown Daemon II Targaryan is crowned. Perhaps Baelor escapes and flees Dorne, and starts putting together a Rebellion of his own...

It does require that I manage to make it interesting for everyone, which I have some doubts on currently. Indeed, so do what is comfortable and works for you. One day I'd consider doing it is giving each character one scene that brings their story to an interesting point, perhaps with an element of choosing between duty/family/politics and what personally advantages them. Players could help workshop these. Keeps things manageable, gives players a chance to have interesting story moments and some influence without it spiraling out of contort. So Laena could have a chance to choose revenge, possibility at a cost to her political side/at some risk to her family or marriage prospects etc. Balon - a chance at an element of redemption or further descent in to villainy. Cooperating with a Yronwood or other Dornishman on the Blackfyre side. Roland - tragically killing or being killed by Redtusk? Doing the honourable thing and trying to stop Bloodraven from shooting Fireball before the battle, hurting his own cause and his own political ambitions? Or finally doing the practical thing and letting Bloodraven shoot, only for it to have been Redtusk wearing Fireball's armour. Something grim and tragic. Sure between the players and loremaster various little scenes can be workshopped to keep things manageable and tie up stories, then timeskip? Or just timeskip if that's easier.

So what I'm up to now is to trying to churn through all the stuff in need of a resolution, which is quite a bit.
Then there's rules tweaks/additions to look at anything that has nothing to do with combat/jousting is probably going to get approval or be discarded, the combat stuff will be tinkered at and then given same treatment once we've settled Appleton melee and Crakehall joust. Some might get postponed for later.
And the Oldtown stuff needs more prep.

If it was possible within the ruleset (and judging by personal house rule trends for it), Eldon would almost be at DR 9 vs Daeron now.
So as interlude to chronicle 2 there could be the biggest sellsword army the wealth of Longtable can hire invading Kingsbridge with the sole* purpose of ensuring that he dies horribly, but I don't need any more distractions from moving us forward.

Even House Starling won't pretend Daeron is flawless, but if we judge a man by his enemies then I think Daeron looks pretty good IC and OOC!

What is the relative timing of Vintage Year and Cloak & Dagger? Would it be appropriate to use Cloak & Dagger to react to rumors gained from Vintage Year?

Cloak and dagger doesn't really have a set timeframe, vintage year is close to the wedding, but what's stopping you from hiring shady people as you step off the ship in Oldtown before riding north from there? Which is the direction most PC's are likely to travel anyway, although sailing by the Shield Islands and maybe also up the Mander may be faster, my quick reading suggests that it probably would be since boats should go faster than horses?

No timeframe other than GRRM-style "hopefully soon", in theory I could push through everything before New Year's Fireworks if I get sufficiently inspired.
I'm thinking of throwing us straight into "Day 0" which covers setting up things without formally having started the chronicle sort of. Oh, and people are going to die. Probably. Maybe just the one already scripted. Seems that NPC assassins aren't very reliable. Although maybe contracts should be placed on people without DP for higher success rates.

So wrapping head around it, seems both Phase 3+4 needs to be done. Can't remember anything that should affect things from events and blah blah blah. So presumed: Levalle prioritize raising power, although there has been talk about setting up an event at Oldtown (needs investigation). Starkwoods prioritize raising wealth (or power?). - Phase 2 towards wealth maybe not recorded? Starlings....paying down loands (raise coffers?) if Lysette has her way, power if Willem gets to decide. Blackbriar...raising coffers all the way, may have to take out loans although phase 4 deadline for Delia dowry extends past Oldtown. Have to check if Phase 1+2 effects have been properly recorded, although logs for all houses has a line that includes this. Saw this in announcements. Wanted to add I raised Wealth +1 for House Blackbriar.
