Methinks some sort of simple intrigue, likely deception specialty, probably taunt since you want him to act in a certain way? DoS presumably matters.

No, I think I ran out of 'slots' before a Septa. Wenda has to do the test. Maester and Redtusk taking up the two assist slots, and then if I succeeded on a Coordinate roll, Ysilla backing up Redtusk's words in the 'bonus' slot. Speaking of... Laena - Feast - Will (Coordination) (Add Character) - TN12: 6D6.HIGH(4) = [4, 2, 4, 2, 4, 4] = 16
1 Short of 2 DoS, so I don't manage to figure out a way for Ysilla to effectively support the plan. So, that's it. Done all I can. Just need to let Wenda know what the plan is (which can happen off-screen, since we've gone over it enough times IC by now - but I will mention the 'miscarriage' part of the plan as well, to be clear), then it's up to the NPCs. I will, however, make clear to Wenda that it is not a 'done deal' - that it does require her to be very persuasive in selling the lie for the others to be willing to stick their neck out. Don't want her believing she's promised anything, in case she fails. All I am offering is a chance.

Found the recap:
So I'm thinking something along these lines: -Wenda needs to make a TN 12 Will Courage test to do her part on the scaffold. -Then she needs to make a TN 20 Simple Intrigue vs Crowd (Walgrave has very high ID from status and stuff). --She must clear TN 13 without assists or she fails to be "convincing", leading others to likely decide not to assist at all. --Two people on the scaffold can assist this test, but the maester "claims" a spot, so if he does not help, that is one less assist allowed. --The other can either be the septon suggesting that The Seven approves of mercy, or Lord Addison himself. --Will (Coordinate) can be used to add more assists by having helpers in the crowd add their voices, however, such assist is capped at +1 for anyone not having 5+ Status or the famous benefit. (And Walgrave will dislike any who does this). --Lord Appleton can be one of the additional voices (and his assist is worth +2), but Walgrave will dislike him if he assists.
On a success, Walgrave is outplayed and will realize as much, so Addison gets to be merciful without Old Oak hating him (but if he assisted Wenda, he will take a disposition hit for it), on a simple failure, most of the crowds will think Addison should grant mercy, but Walgrave will take it as a slight if he does, but disappointing the crowd likely carries a heavier cost (Overall won't be better for him compared to the scenario where there is no such pleading for mercy). On a critical failure, the tale doesn't stick and she'll be worse off than if she hadn't tried that gambit.
Ysilla can assist coordinate to allow Redtusk to assist because hard work and makes sense, he is not up on the platform, so it's maester and either septon or Lord Appleton that are the options to get to +6.

Ah, neat. The idea is to keep Lord Appleton 'insulated' from the consequences, so it has to be the Septon. Laena - Feast - Septon Audience roll: 7D6.HIGH(5)+7 = [5, 6, 2, 2, 2, 3, 5]+7 = 28
Should be plenty Laena greets the Septon with a respectful curtsey. "Thank you for agreeing to meet with me, Septon. I would not ordinarily call so late, but this eve's events have left me ... troubled."

The turn of events have indeed been troubling, the pot-bellied septon offers in a soothing and comforting manner, perhaps a little weary, but steeling himself not to let that hinder him from showing compassion. Sterness: 12=Very stern: 2d6 4

Laena begins by carefully testing the waters. "The Seven-Pointed Star clearly states 'a trial by combat allows The Warrior to guide the blade of the righteous' - as close as I can remember, those are the exact words. However, I recall no passage where it states The Warrior *will* do so, only that they *may*. Am I correct, or am I forgetting a vital passage?"

The Seven Who Are One does indeed offer guidance, but it is not always apparent to us in the moment, did The Crone whisper to Lady Wenda that she should have chosen an older and more experienced champion and such advice went unheeded? Did The Father seed doubts in the mind of Ser Aubrey about her innocence to make him refrain from offering his blade? Or perhaps he was given signs meant to spur him into stepping forward in her defense and failed to see them? This we sometimes only understand once it is too late to act on them, sometimes we do not at all. And just as surely, many have believed to have been guided by The Warrior through a difficult battle when it was merely skill and good fortune, after all, men die on both sides in battle, men who often have no choice in following their lord's cause, would my lady say that every war and battle that she knows of from the histories was won by the righteous side? Scholarly inclined, 12=lots and lots: 2d6 7Bland is boring....

Laena carefully nods, acknowledging the point, and buying time for her to craft her verbal weapons from his words. "So, the Seven may desire certain outcomes, but are foiled by the foibles of man. So, we must all be alert to signs from them, and be willing to act should they appear. The Mother may well seek mercy in the current circumstance, and may have - or even may yet - send signs for people to enact said mercy. But it all depends on the faith, wisdom, and courage of those men to act on the signs? Thus, should mercy not be granted in that circumstance, we should not see it as a failure of the Seven, or a sign that they don't care, rather it is a failure of man to follow the Seven's will? Am I understanding matters correctly?"[So, this roll is to subtly place the idea in the Septon's head that if the Mother desires mercy in this situation, some sign could appear which, if he fails to act on, would be a failure of his faith. You know, just in case, by chance, some sign should appear. Feast - Deception (Act) vs Septon: 6d6k4 21 I think that'll do.]

Perhaps, the scripture only offers general answers to how the faithful shall act, and the direct intervention of The Seven has rarely been reported to be clear and fully understood at the time of receiving, perhaps only after.

Laena nods. "Merciful, Just, Brave, Willing to act to fix things which are broken, Virtuous, Wise, and well aware that all mortal men have but finite power, especially compared to the Seven who are One." Listing off a carefully-chosen key virtue from each aspect. She moves to stand. "You may view your words as relatively simple, but I needed to hear them tonight, Septon. Thank you. Let us both hope and pray that we display those virtues more than we fail at them in the trying days and months and years to come." Exactly who she meant by 'we' left deliberately ambiguous.
[Don't want to over-hammer the point and raise suspicions, so barring anything too signficant in his response, Laena will thank him and leave.]

Act 8: The condemned.
The Milk of the Poppy has kept Robyn asleep for nearly a full cycle of the sun, waking up slowly in a dreamlike haze, sensing the world, but cannot separate it from dreams, hammers working somewhere below, the chatter of ravens from above, a ponderous methodical grinding piercing the air, each stroke like an unearthly wail. The smells of medicine and concoctions. The itchyness of the bandages. By the time he is fully awake, he can hear the murmurs of the gathering crowd in the yard as ominous warning of what is about to happen, the cruel mistress that is fate appears to have granted him just enough strength today to climb out of bed and move to the small window in the maester's tower that of course just have to give a good view of the scaffold down in the yard.
The Household Guard stand like statutes with two yards between each man, spears and shields in hand to mark where the crowds are not permitted to go past, above them on the scaffold stands Lord Addison, his head tilted downwards as in prayer, next to him, his squire holds a heavy two-handed sword. His brothers are also there. The Footly's quietly file out of the castle to stand to the side of the scaffold, close, but not prominent.
The septon leads the somber procession, often the condemned will have to walk through the masses to suffer their insults and curious glances, sometimes stones and rotten fruit, but whether by design or happenstance, today, this is not so. Lady Wenda, clad in a simple white gown, her hair meticulously and elaborately braided seems to be held on her own feet by pride alone as she is shaking in fear, two silent sisters follow, ready to give support if needed. Slowly they ascend and come to a halt before the block.
Here, the condemned might say a few words, perhaps a night of contemplation might bring the clarity of mind for a confession? A chance, perhaps, to show that a noble may face death with dignity by encouraging others to serve the seven faithfully. A final jape, such as the Lord Strong asking that the clubfoot for which he had been cruelly named be finally removed, is not unheard of either.
Will let the PC's and Players squirm a little in anticipation, and post reactions to the whole thing, since things may very well take an unexpected turn and such for almost everyone in the crowd.

Roland swallowed, feeling guilt and regret at not taking up arms against his half-brother The two were bettered matched than the valiant Ser Robyn and his bastard brother were, the better for the Warrior to tip the outcome to the righteous party. Had Roland himself lost, surely the verdict of the Gods would have been clearer? When faced against an equal foe Ser Normyn had frequently lost duels, proving the truth of the allegations against him and Lady Maegelle in the eyes of gods and men. And Roland counted himself one of the few in the Reach that was Normyn's equal with sword and lance.
Daeron had been well intentioned, but events so far had given the to his companion's well meant belief that Lady Wenda would be given the opportunity to swear vows and join the Silent Sisters.

Davos had been sitting in the maester's chambers next to Robyn. He had been there the entire time since the trial, except for those times when he had necessities to take care of or the maester, annoyed by his presence, kicked him out.
Normally he would have ushered Robyn back into bed immediately, but this was not a normal time. Instead he gently supported the young man at the window.
He thought about saying something, but nothing came to mind but meaningless platitudes, which would not make Robyn feel any better. He opted instead for silence and a shoulder to lean on, figuratively as well as literally.
