CD: 10 (12/15) (reckless) AR: 6 Health: 9/12 Movement: 5/20 I/W/F: 0/0/1 GA: Moving to Otho Taking 1 fatigue for additional LA LA: grab attack; reckless. [P3 TToTWSp2] reckless grabbing attack v. Otho (+1 talented, +2b from waiting): 11d6k6 29 As Mikel had recovered he watched Otho as he cut some men down. He looked for any pattern in Otho's fighting which he might be able to use to his advantage, but there was nothing that he could see. Finally, after shouting to Robyn and taking a few more deep breaths he moved. He was quick and moved low, trying to keep others between himself and Otho until he made his move. Once he was close enough Mikel darted in, crashing into Otho and trying to pin his arm, or shield, or sword between them as he got his sword behind Otho and grabbed ahold of it to keep them tightly pressed together.

Given all the shattering and other stuff in play, I need you to track down: If shattering is -1/-1, that would probably be: CD=9 (Base 12 +2 Not afraid of you -5 reckless, -1 shattering). AR=5 (Base 6, -1 shattering)
And you might as well make another fighting (brawling) test, reckless applies, because someone will try and break the hold.

Mikel may have gotten a hold of the Brute's arm, preventing him to use his mace, but one might wonder who is having the upper hand as the large man, when failing to shake off his hated foe, instead drives Mikel before him and arranges a harsh meeting between the back of his head and the stone wall of the gateway.
Hmm, I'm not sure if that +1D actually should apply to the follow up, but since Otho intends to go Reckless anyway, it matters not, both get +1D as originally believed. Break Free (Reckless): 8d6k6 24 Nope. Punch Mikel in the Face (Reckless): 8d6k6 264*5-6=14 damage Maintaining the grab would be a lesser action against TN 23 next turn (explicitly not an attack, so no +1D from reckless on that one). Robyn got some CyB backlog methinks. Otho Bracken: 6/12 CD: 3 (4 Shield) AR: 11

Ok, so for the previous Rounds, Robyn will use CyB, and then move in on Round 5 TToWS-B: CyB for 3 Rounds (-1D from Wound, -1D from Fear from Otho): 3#4d6k2 7 6 7 that is 2 DoS per Each, which gives him back 6 Health For the first round, its an attack against Otho. Reckless, Gotta make sure it hits hard LA 1: Aim LA 2: Attack TToWS-B: Reckless Aimed Attack vs Grabbed Otho (+1D for Reckless, +1b for Aim, -1D for Wound, Superior Weapon and Talented): 9d6k4+2 20 4 DoS, did the fact that he is grabbed increase the damage or did it only take the damage that was there and give it piercing? If it did increase damage, it is 4x7=28-11= 17 damage, if not, just 9 damage. Still has Shattering, so that is a -1 penalty to him CD: 8 (Reckless) AR: 6 HP: 9/12 (Regained the 6, but lost 3 from the previous hit on us) I/W/F: 0/1/0
Robyn took a moment to steady himself, looking at the battle that raged on. As Mikel called to him, a large smile crept onto his face, "Yeah, we can do that," Before he grabbed his shoulder and popped it back into place, letting out a scream as he rushed forward, charging Otho, and as soon as Mikel had him, brought his mace down towards his head, letting out a long howl

Grabbed decreases CD (piercing is for brawling/short blades), damage is unaffected.
Otho Bracken: 1/12, 1 injury CD: 2 (+4 Shield, -1 shattering, -5 grabbed, -5 reckless) AR: 11

I think that brings us to a new warfare round? I have to admit I'm having trouble following the timing of everything. Going forward, could we please label our actions with the warfare and person action round? So like:
R5.1 GA Do a silly dance 6d6k4.... R5.2 LA Move R5.2 LA Cautious attack with superior fish 7d6k5+1...

If somebody can clear up which warfare round/combat trun we are set to begin, I will happily and accurately label.

CD: 10 (12/15) (reckless) AR: 6 Health: 3/12 Movement: 5/20 I/W/F: 2/0/1 GA: Pin; Reckless. [P3 TToTWSa2 WR 2 CR 2] Reckless Pin v. Otho (Talented, 1 Fatigue): 9d6k6 25 Mikel knew Otho had opened up his head above his brow, he thought it may have been in line with where his helmet had tore him open when Otho ripped it off as he tried to remove Mikels head during the joust at the Black Tourney. He could feel the blood coming down, it would be in his eyes soon but it would be worth it. When Otho had struck him he put his body into it - as one should do - but this close, pressed into one another, it was something Mikel could take advantage of. Thrusting his hips into Othos and using his sword as a lever, Mikel rolled Otho over him and put the Brute on his back then became immediately focused on keeping him there.

You forgot about the 14 damage you took last round, and you'll need to make more brawling tests (at least two) to keep hold.

Otho struggles mightily to break free, any ordinary knight would have long since been overpowered, but The Brute of Bracken is as terrifying a foe as any, and though even he is forced to greatly exert himself to get back on his feet, the blow delivered to Mikel with terrible fury would probably have felled most men, but Mikel is quicker and tougher than most men.
Given how pinning has been given a rewrite (and grab states that it otherwise functions as in the book where pinned does not), methinks that no, no +1D. Break Free (Reckless): 2#7d6k5 23 13Forgot +1D: 2#1d6 1 3For 25, 16. And then there was fatigue. Demoralize Mikel: 7d6k5 21He really should have lead with that, -1D to all of Mikel's test for 1 round. Break Free (Reckless): 8d6k6 32That should be well out of reach for Mikel with the -1D. DIE MIKEL! DIE! DIE! DIE!: 9d6k6 254*7-6=22, and shattering 1 Otho Bracken: 1/12, 1 injury, 3 fatigue CD: 7 (+4 Shield, -1 shattering -5 reckless) AR: 11 So Round 3: Methinks the best strategy you both have now is to take fatigue to ignore the -1D from the wound, then do the knockdown+reckless routine (regular attacks, grab is probably not reliable), you should have a reasonable shot at forcing a retreat out of him without Mikel picking up more wounds than healing and some milk of the poppy won't take care of for act 3. Might want to be a little mindful of that everyone involved will take damage from the units they're attached to being attacked, although that might work towards your advantage with Otho in this case actually.
