I don't think it's reasonable to assist the actions of a unit directly, possible to assist commands though.

Assists on orders to Unit 3 would be much more useful than assists on pushes, too.

Then thats what he does and where he goes! Hes basically just trying to help where he can, knowing his battle is over, so to speak.

There's also an opposed roll against Robyn's attempt to break free.

That’s what those rolls were supposed to be? Did I miss something? I was only rolling those in response to him breaking free and they were maintaining a grab

It's two components: Maintaining grab is done by the guards on their turn to avoid losing hold (vs passive strength), opposing break free is against your breaking free attempt. maintain grab: 2#6d6k4 19 19Doesn't change anything, basically gave you a couple of extra chances of being freed.

No longer constrained by needing a hand to guide his horse, Davos stepped back from the front line momentarily to sheath his longsword and stow his shield, then draw the greatsword from his back. It's familiar weight was a comfort in his hands. Good castle-forged steel, but lacking in most of the decorations that adorned many a nobles' blades. This was not a weapon for tourneys or duels to first blood. This was a tool for killing, plain and simple. Reengaging with the foe, he set about his grim butcher's work. A head split here, a torso sundered there. Fathers, sons, brothers viciously hewn like so much meat. A guard grabbed him, but he easily broke free and made sure the guard would never again perform the offending action by liberating the man's arms from his torso. He stepped back surveying the carnage and catching his breath. His dreams would be red tonight. Red, hot, sticky, and unpleasant. Still, he did not look away nor even flinch. There was more work to be done. If I wanted to do the Trample action, what would change based on this scenario? Is there the potential for getting trapped or?

You'd risk being separated from the rest of the group (and I'd say that they'll attack the horse also).
The guards being 10 yards deep, you could try for some serious heroics and make for their commander, they like to hide behind their men, but you could trample through the archers to get to him. Although probably be prepared for a hefty Animal Handling TN to get the horse up the stairs, but you could do that last part on foot and simply try to deal enough damage to the archers (with their CD 7, AR 1 and knives, they mostly are a threat through grabbing) to force such a duel.

Robyn, unless he becomes unable to. (If Robyn rides out of Mikels assisting 'range')

Again, just to clarify, Ive started rolling things, but not the trample yet. Would I need to do two tramples to get through to the archers to trample them? One through the guards and the next through the archers? Or just move past them? Also, does the trample count as the Animal Handling roll to get it up the stairs?

You need to defeat 10 guards by trample to get through them, then I'd say 4 LA's of movement to get to the archers, with a separate test for getting up the stairs.

Still a little confused on Trample, because i would at maximum damage be dealing 16, which wouldnt take out guards. Does it knock the guards down or what else happens? Is there any way to increase the damage, or is it like powerful? This WR i will just get used to the horse story wise. His place was in a saddle, and this beast beneath him was sturdy. Stubborn too, as it seemed, Robyn tugged on the reigns tight as he took a moment to look at the field, and assess his options. They needed to get through that gate, and push the last bit of distance to truly conquer The Warrior's Seat. Realizing that the ball and chain wasn't as effective as a sword, he stowed it before drawing out his new blade he had made for war. He looked down at Mikel, and gave him a smile, "Stay safe Mikel, we cant have you dying before I can tell stories of your victory against the Brute today!" He laughed as he urged the horse forward, swinging his sword down at a guard, who hit him properly in return.
