At long last, the defensive line finally breaks, overrun by now rather angry, tired and vicious Bracken troops. Those with their wits about them make for where the valuables surely must be stored. Others have grown blood-drunk, burning and cutting down just about any man they find without a tabard marking him as one of their own, though that is a mercy compared to what is in store for the women of Mudgrave. Ser Normyn appears much more concerned with securing the town, disarming the surrendered militiamen and ensuring that his own wounded receives treatment. The sellswords, freeriders and other such fortune hunters, some of which being in service to knights bannermen of Stone Hedge, he cares not to reign in. The reality of war perhaps, most knights would just let it happen, though not Redtusk or Ser Aubrey Ambrose, and surely not Blackfyre. Nor would Lord Willem.
No new rules, no. But now there should be 2 non-routed Bracken units inside against 1 Blackwood, so defenders finally break. Attacks on Daeron,Normyn: 20#8d6k6 22 23 22 25 33 25 23 20 19 16 24...2 damage to Daeron. Attacks on M4, M3: 6d6k3+1 14 7d6k4+1 162 damage to M4, 9 to M3 Blackwood Militia 1: Annihilated Blackwood Militia 2: -15/10, routed. Bracken Militia 1: 8/10, +1 TN to further orders. Bracken Militia 2: 5/10, disorganized, +3 TN to further orders. Bracken Militia 3 (Normyn): -13/10, routed, +2 TN to further orders. Bracken Militia 4: 3/10, +1 TN to further orders. Freeriders: Destroyed. Normyn: 5/12, 3 injuries (tough) Greed rearing it's ugly head: 5d6 15 I think that's 0 DoS against anointed-boosted ID? 14 normally -3 Avaracious, +5 Anointed. So Daeron should be feel to loot as he pleases now, but since he happens to be the master of his greed, he may instead attempt to stop at least the first part of rape, pillage and burn: Warfare (Command) TN 9 Persuasion (Intimidate) TN 9 Fighting (Brawling) TN 9 -Success on all tests: Public rumor of Daeron's gallantry, +1 Disposition with House Blackwood, Redtusk, Daemon Blackfyre, Aubrey Ambrose and Willem Starling. Alternatively, he may be devious and attempt to make Normyn be extra thorough (Daeron may still loot, but the foregoes the +1D for head start): Simple Intrigue (Convince) TN 14, +1 Bracken War Crimes per DoS, scoring 2 or more DoS results in a public rumor of Normyn's viciousness, which probably will hurt his side in any future Cordwayner inheritance struggles. This part of the house rules may interest you: "It is possible to use fatigue out of combat to affect a single test (typically ignoring injuries/wounds). In the case of circumstances where the order of tests to be made in a scene is not explicit, you may chose the order in which the tests are made."

*So if Daeron choose to stop some of that rape and pillage, does he lose all chances to loot himself?*

Not beyond the 2 coffers you get for being first through the gate, no.
Also, it should say that you get an injury on a critfail (you may stop rolling further if that happens, or if you fail a roll, defaulting should be non-critical failure).

With a sickening squelch, Ser Daeron removes his sword from the torso of yet another unfortunate defender of Mudgrave. How many had he killed today? 50? 100? As the man fell, so did the cohesion of the Blackwood lines, finally giving in to the inevitable. As they fled, he raised his sword prepared to strike them down from behind, but for a vital moment he stopped himself. The stern visage of Lord Willem swam in his head, what would his lord think of him if he returned to Kingsbridge as the Butcher of Mudgrave? Would it make him doubt the honor of the Blackfyre cause or his own decision to let Daeron join the Bracken campaign in the first place? Would Lady Daena wish to marry such a bloodstained knight? No. He would rise above the madness that threatened to consume Mudgrave. He was no Otho, no Ulbert, he was Ser Daeron Wildfyre–the Giantsbane. He would not sully his hard-won victory, nor would he let his men sully it either. They might grumble and hate him now, but they would thank him later. Putting his sword back into its sheath, he began barking orders to those who would listen out of loyalty, making threats to those who would obey out of fear, and cracking a few skulls to those who lacked the wisdom of the first two groups. There would be loot enough to go around for everyone, but it need not be excessive. This was their town now and there was no point in destroying their own property. Mudgrave-Stopping the Pillaging-Persuasion (Intimidate) TN 9: 6d6k4-2 11Mudgrave-Stopping the Pillaging-Fighting (Brawling) TN 9: 6d6k5-3 13Mudgrave-Stopping the Pillaging-Warfare (Command)-Using Fatigue to ignore injuries-TN 9: 4d6k3-1 14Success on all 3, Daeron gets to be the good guy today
Though he was just one man, and seriously injured at that, few smallfolk wanted to stand against a dragon as fierce as Wildfyre a fact that allowed him to regain control of the situation on the ground and protect the smallfolk civilians. However, there was still the matter of the captured Blackwoods. Because Ser Normyn was still the commander in charge, he had the final say on what to do with the remaining militiamen, but Daeron wanted to make sure that his brother would hear his opinion first.
*I know it's not part of the assigned mechanics, so feel free to ignore it, but I figured that this would be a good time for Red-Blooded to rear its ugly head.* Mudgrave-Red Blooded Twist: 6d6k4 12 Daeron might not be so good after all... "Brother, I have managed to dissuade the men from completely sacking the town and butchering the smallfolk, but they might not be so content to see their captives go unscathed, especially the archers that killed so many of their friends and family. Putting them to the sword ought to satiate their bloodlust."Mudgrave-Put them to the sword-Convince: 6d6k4-5 11

Normyn reasons differently, having prevented the rape, they can now show the realms that the Blackfyre supporters are gallant and honorable. Sparing the enemy, and their women. Gold should satisfy the men once their boiling blood cools off.

Daeron frowns at his softness, but accepts his brother’s leadership in the matter. “Then offer them each a few silver stags to defend Mudgrave in the name of House Bracken. Our forces could use the replenishment, and most smallfolk defending their homes don’t care who their lord is.”
Looking at the ruined section of palisade and the destroyed gate, he finishes, “and maybe have some of them repair this. We can’t hold this town for long with literal holes in our defenses.”
*That’s mostly it for Daeron, he also gives +1 disposition to Ser Normyn to reflect their bonding through battle*
