Five men remains, not a single one without cuts and bruised, though some are in better shape than others, and everyone has bested someone of renown on the way, though some might question Lord Durwell's contributions on that account, but he is a skilled knight that would pose a challenge for most in this field. Except Ser Manfryd Grimm who has been accompanying his lord throughout the whole competition, odds are that he will become the victor unless everyone decides to do something about their main threat. At least Lord Marq makes a signal suggesting that he thanks his sworn sword for the companionship on road, but now...may the best man win. Mmm, I think Manfryd is first due to: a) I am not seeing AP factored into that roll. b) Manfryd having 2 specialties over Roland's 1 makes him win ties.

Whether Manfryd singles out Roland as the most dangerous opponent or some other reason is unknown, but he appears to plan for having to fight more than one man at once. 1=Roland, 2=Marq,3=Titus,4=Loren: 1d4 1Move and cautious attack Roland: 8d6k4+2 18 That would be 2*7-11=3, and shattering 1. Would need to assess whether Roland would be running away from Manfryd or stand and fight. Titus may be brought almost to the brink, but refuses to yield just yet, as Lord Marq engages Ser Loren, the Lannister knight clings on even more desperately, abandoning his offense to stay in the game, while Ser Manfryd patiently pursues Roland.

With three men only caring about not being last, Lord Durwell grumbles something about having to take down the man without any help. Ser Loren apparently decides that with his primary threat gone, he might see about exploiting the opening Roland offers instead of getting the crowd chanting him doing nothing. Titus stubbornly clings on to his chance at glory.
That's obviously a typo, him taking fatigue to ignore injuries would be how the code adds up. Manfryd->Roland->Marq->Titus->Loren Marq Move+Attack Manfryd: 8d6k5+1 25 2*6-10=2 Titus CyB: 5d6k3-7 7Loren charges Roland: 6d6k3-2 14 So 2*8-11=51=Marq, 2=Roland (victory vs loyalty): 1d2 1Marq takes fatigue to ignore AP Manfryd Aim+Cautious on Marq: 9d6k4+2 23 2*7-10=4, shattering 1 Loren Lannister CD: 13 AR: 10 Health: 6/12-4 fatigue, 1 injury Manfryd Grimm CD: 17 (14) AR: 10 Health: 6/15-1 injury, 2 fatigue (Tough) Marq Durwell CD: 15 (12) AR: 10 Health 8/12, 1 injury, 1 fatigue Titus CD: 15 (12) AR: 11 Health 6/12, 3 fatigue, 4 injury, 1 wound.

Tired and injured even beyond the standards of a full battle, Roland continued attempting to overpower his good friend Titus. Injury to absorb 4 damage Melee attack Titus - Reckless, fatigue to ignore wound: 12d6k6+1 2718 Damage - 11 AR = 7 Damage CD: 13->11 (shattering x2) -> 6 AR: 11 Health: 4/12 I/W/F: 1/1/4 [OOC: As discussed in OOC forum, it is a bit tough on players when typos cause material changes in combats as it led to Roland being unnecessarily aggressive. Happily the melee isn't directly plot relevant and a good way to iron out these kinks. Roland will accept defeat if he is left as one of the final four.]

As Titus is overpowered, Lord Marq and Ser Loren works in concert to try and wear down the dreaded Ser Manfryd, as formidable as he may be, the favorite might not hold his own forever if outnumbered.
Given that there's a ~95% chance of the +1D from reckless (in the typo case) being overkill, that one is undone, but changes NPC's behavior: Loren instead moves to (cautious) assist Marq, meaning Manfryd takes another 6 damage. Then onwards: Titus is defeated. Manfryd->Roland->Marq->Loren Loren assists Marq (cautious, on both tests) Distract+Attack: 7d6k4-1 18 8d6k5 24 Distract succeeds for effective +4, so 3*6-10=8 Marq takes fatigue to ignore AR Manfryd aim+cautios on Marq: 9d6k4+1 22 2*7-10=4, shattering 1 Loren Lannister CD: 16 (13) AR: 10 Health: 6/12-4 fatigue, 1 injury Manfryd Grimm CD: 17 (14) AR: 10 Health: 2/15-3 injury, 2 fatigue (Tough) Marq Durwell CD: 14 (11) AR: 10 Health 4/12, 1 injury, 2 fatigue

The fight between Lord Marq and his own champion is hard fought and impressive, but in the end, Ser Manfryd Grimm proves stronger and tougher, even when facing two men. Lord Durwell is eventually overpowered, but gave a strong enough showing that even one of the most fearsome combatants in the realm and for certain the only remaining favorite is so battered and spent that Ser Loren Lannister emerges as the extremely unlikely champion to great applause. The crowds loves nothing more than an upset. Those manning the gambling stalls are also smiling wide, it would appear that none staked any coin on him.
