"Machine gun" is in the name. Snoop Dog sounds a lot less scary than Snoop "Desert eagle aimed at your head" dog🤔
But given rappers these days, I assume that he is much wind and little substance!

Resurrecting an old thread but turning it to domestic football: predictions for English Premier League and Bundesliga champions?

I think City edges it by a tiny margin. I don't follow German football closely enough to give a very accurate prediction, but gut feeling says that FC Bayern probably will need to beat Dortmund at home.

I fear you may be right on the English premier League - i’d like Liverpool to win for variety. City have a marginally tougher run in and are still in the FA cup, both may weigh against them.

I suspect City has the extra squad depth to cancel out that advantage.

I suspect City has the extra squad depth to cancel out that advantage. Good point, they have coped very well with the absence (until his recent return) of the excellent Kevin De Bruyne. Most of their competitors couldn’t cope with an injury to a similar player nearly so well.

I missed the football tonight as I was playing the Arkham Horror LCG with my friends, but the Man City v Spurs game sounds entertainingly bonkers, a premier league style lack of defending even in a European game. Look forward to digging out some highlights tomorrow.

Football doesn't start until September. What are you talking about? 😁 We can do “Aaron Rodgers: does he leave the Packers?” too. Important to be versatile.

Welcome to my Ted Talk
As a Packers fan, Denver's first pick in the draft was the longest 10 minutes of my life. Easily went through all the stages of grief in that time. That being said, he coming back. We had a really good draft. A lot of people think because we drafted a defensive player first round means we don't want him back, but defense is the reason Aaron only has 1 superbowl ring. He can make any wide receiver good so he doesn't need a first round wr. He also already has weapons. Jones, Adams, Lazard, Tonyan, and MVS are all good players. The only problem is that MVS can't make an important catch to save his life. Wouldn't be an issue if our defense can play a full game and it doesn't have to be a shoot out to win. That being said, the wr we drafted this year complements Adams really well and is exactly what we needed on offense.
Now on to the rumors. Saying Aaron Rodgers is unhappy is like saying the sky is blue. He is the best player skill wise and he knows it, and he has never been easy to work with. Being the best skilled qb ever, he wants to run the team his way while the head couch and front office want to run it their way. The reason the rumors are of no concern is first, how drastically they changed over a week where they went from "He not coming back" to "Well, if things change he coming back". Second, AJ Hawk (former teammate) was with Aaron over that weekend and said "Yeah he coming back", which I trust over a reporter stating the obvious.
TLDR: He coming back. He just wanted to assert some dominance over the team.

He is the Steelers starting QB in 2022.
I don't actually believe that but as a Steelers fan I'll take 3 to 5 years of him over Mason Rudolph or a weak '22 QB class.
As an Iowa St. grad I am happy Rodgers is there because it makes Lazard look good.

Shitty Norwegian Football league started again.
The only two things of worse quality than the Norwegian league are the refs in the Norwegian league and the commentators and so-called "experts" on Norwegian TV.
Like, when I was in Uganda and watched the 2016 Euros on South African TV, I was blown away by how good the commentators were, it's like watching the champion's league final and then compare the quality with the team that plays just down the street from where I live, can't remember if they are playing at tier 3 or 4 in the league system, I think 3.

Soccer/football views from 2020/21 so far? I’ve seen less than I’d like due to work/family duties, but what I’ve seen so far has been good.
