Ever the opportunist, in the melee as in other places, Lord Marq hears the shouts singling out Ser Byren, and he happily obliges their wishes, Ser Manfryd in front, Lord Marq behind. Ser Byren decides to try and deal with the weaker opponent first and gets in a nice blow before quickly yielding after making an honorable attempt of fighting the inevitable. The lesser Grimm, Ser Donnel, easily takes care of Ser Dunstan Terrick, and Ser Byren was otherwise all out of allies.
