As Blackwood and Bracken are about to reach each other, Ser Aemon barks the order of no single combat foolishness against Lord Eldon's dogs, Lord Willem might have done differently, but Ser Aemon thinks it preferable not to give Ser Marlon any more companions beside him just yet. Thaddeus finds himself without his quarry, though at least he might have escaped Ser Robb Reyne for the time being, Parmen is without a team entirely, Aerion and the Starkwoods have conquered the challenge from the Oakhearts, but with one man down and the rest are battered and bruised.
The stands believes that the Starlings are going to win out against The Merryweathers, in one corner macabre bets are placed as to how many companions are going to die before Norren and Rennifer are subdued, but they think that it will take away the chances of the victor to emerge from the ranks of Kingsbridge. With Blackfyre so battered, there are four names having bets thrown at them the most, Ser Robb Reyne, Lord Owen Roxton, Ser Wyl Waynwood and Ser Manfryd Grimm, although the due of Ser Titus Blackbriar and Ser Preston Oakheart appears to have some bets for them as well. There are those who prefer the longer odds on Lord Marq Durwell, noting how he cleverly rides in Ser Manfryd rear to ensure that his sworn sword never gets outflanked while escaping notice in the shadow of the formidable warrior. Others thinks Ser Sandor Daverhyl should be considered on account of how seemingly unaffected he rode out of the churn that claimed so many great knights to defeat mighty Redtusk in single combat.
Daeron: Can brace for oncoming onslaught of nasty Blackguards.
Roland: Presently able to lead his team to charge into the Merryweathers in Round 3 of Daeron's scene. For every two Warfare DoS sacrificed while still succeeding on both tests (this can effectively give up +1D to initiative), his team may enter one round earlier, entering in "round 0" means entering in round 1 with +1D iniative. A critical failure means you're cut off.
Thaddeus: With no Normyn to contend with, there will be random opponents instead.
Parmen has options:
1. Roll Warfare as normal to try and link up with Thaddeus (succeed on both tests suffices), enter his scene in that case.
2. Try to recruit a new team (roll as noted in melee structure).
3. Go it alone and seek single combat, more DoS means easier opponent.
Aerion has options:
1. Accept Ser Uthor on the team, then roll warfare (no assists), more DoS means easier opponents.
2. As above, but take on Ser Uthor (weaker team, but likely less troublesome opposition this scene).
3. Roll to recruit someone better (would require 5 DoS), enemies then up to the whims of fate.
