Aerion allos himself a moment to get the lay of the land, but suddenly spotting Ser Glyn setting himself to charge him. He turns his horse towards him, then kicks it into action and charges the man.

Can definitely swap out attack actions for CyB after the third round given how 4/12 is a risky place to be.

Ser Glyn Keath could not match Aerion for either prowess or staying power and fell swiftly. In the press of men and horses the great bastard appeared to attract unusually strong or fortunate opponents, perhaps men keen to make a name for themselves by overthrowing a knight who had enjoyed such success in the joust. Ser Glyn Keath Melee initiative: 3d6-3 12Charge: 7d6k3+1 19- 2 DoS = 14 Damage - 10AR = 4 Damage [Think your charge does even more damage, as charge requies dropping one dice that that still leaves you with 4 DoS and charging does +2 damage per DoS. Doesn't really matter but important for style points and looking cool!] Melee combatants Missing bonus dice in R2, R4 v Aerion: 2#1d6 3 4- Turns 4th attack in to a 21 for another 5 damage, apologies...

(I've got to stop posting with minimal sleep!) Thought the aim bonus dice was already included in the 4D+2B+1. These no names hit harder than the named guy (should have sandbagged to keep him around ) Melee R4&5 CyB - vs. TN 0: 2#4d6 15 20 - 4 DoS each, negates damage from rounds 4 and 5, leaving him at 4/12 health. Still precarious position. But at least the first charge was cool (cooler still with Roland's corrections!).

If I’m assuming correctly and you have Superior Plate and Armor Mastery, Your CD should be 12 not 11. Should save you some health.

Actually now that you point it out, it looks like I made a typo in the AR bit (don't have armour mastery), so it's costing me even more health D:
But I appreciate you looking out for me!
2/12 health corrected.

[OOC: classic Starling stuff, as even when Addam and I try to help out we make things worse...
I think the general unnamed melee attacks aren't stronger than the named opponents, they're rather from a similar source but now have time to use "aim". I may well have missed the extra dice here too, but spotted the 7d6k4 from those who'd already rolled.
You might want to throw in some more CYB as I think the adjusted AR makes this:
4 Damage (charge) 8/12 R1 5 Damage, Aerion defeats a foe 3/12 R2 0 Damage, 4 health recovered 7/12 - Let's slide the First CyB in here instead of R4 R3 5 Damage, 4 health recovered 6/12 - Let's use the second CyB here for simplicity instead of R5 R4 5 Damage, Aerion defeat a foe 1/12 R5 5 Damage, Aerion defeats a foe -4/12 - need to take two injuries without further CyB]

If he does CyB in R2 and R3, it makes no sense not going cautious, so: R3: 11/12, no damage because upped CD. R4: 6/12 R5: 1/12
Tactically (before knowing what the dice will be) it looks optimal with a CyB in round 5 also, leaving health at 6+DoS.

P2.5 R5 CyB Roll.: 4d6 13 3 DoS Health: 9/12 what are the benefits of attacking during this?

In the behind the scenes calculation, the more NPC's you defeat, the less damage your NPC team-mates will take. On the other hand, the damage taken by PC's on average determines the damage taken by NPC's on average, though I may need to run a few NPC's through the gauntlet for a bigger sample.

Given Trystane and Aerion's Prowess, Davos and Sebaston takes no damage at all. Symon starts with: 1d6-4 -2 Also unscathed. Should do in-between test, gaining bonuses if following pre-set objective (gets assists if clearing proud).

What do you mean by in between tests?
Nevermind, read the OG post.

Yeah just found that myself. And thanks! Would you like the honours of making the Finals thread, or shall I?
