At the sound of the trumpet Daeron surged forward with the rest of his small team of Companions, coming across the unfortunate Ser Eddard Vypren. Perhaps hoping to make a name for himself by defeating Wildfyre early in the melee, Ser Eddard charges forward to meet the Starling knight.

However he was caught proverbially flat footed at the speed at which he was attacked. Melee Scene 1, vs. Wildfyre, Initiative: 3d6-3 4*Will use Fatigue to ignore AP on attack.

It was over almost as quickly as it started for the Riverlander as Daeron delivered a devastating blow, ending Ser Eddard's dreams of glory in the melee.
CD: 12 AR: 11 Health: x/12 W/I/F: 1/0/0 Melee vs Eddard-Charge: 8d6k4+2 25 (4 DOS for 32 damage) Eddard still needs an opposed attack roll from someone as he still might deal some damage.

No, you beat him by 5+ on initiative, thus getting to act first.

After downing Ser Eddard, Daeron wades through the thicket giving better than he gets. Once he clears the gauntlet immediately in front of his path, he takes a moment to catch his breath as Ser Aemon reorganizes their team. Fending off one final attack from some household knight, Daeron delivers a superb blow that leaves the man unconscious in the dirt as he slowly cuts a path through the melee. WW Melee-Unnamed Attack 5: 7d6k4+1 16WW Melee-Attack #5: 8d6k5+2 24 (4 DOS for 24-7=17 damage)
