The knights signed up for the melee clusters about around the field, with the attendants doing their best to ensure that Brackens and Blackwoods are spaced such that they are not likely to reach one another, Ser Daeron and Ser Aemon have been assigned at the other end from where Ser Norren and Ser Rennifer have been placed. Ser Normyn and the knights of House Levalle are similarly ordered apart. greatbastards.boards.net/thread/1021/melee-structure has been updated. Those partaking in the melee should indicate whom they intend or would like to team up with to begin with (Doesn't matter much if PC's clusters together or not, PC's without PC allies are likely to see more single combat even if that single combat is part of a team on team affair, PC's banding together will have a larger likelihood of getting group on group action). Can roll for leaders of men and getting priorities straigh once decisions are made. (Remember to check for benefits/drawbacks). Characters from home houses: For Kingsbridge, Willem and Aemon will each lead a squad of companions, PC's may join either one or do their own thing. For Starkwoods, Symon and Davos will be sticking together. Levalle's have Robyn to be assigned where they would like. Blackbriars are represented by Ser Eoric Applehouse (and Titus, but Delia avails herself of his family first drawback to join Preston Oakheart's good guy team) Others that may be of interests as options for PC's to team up with: Redtusk teams up with cousins Horas and Zachery Willas and Garret Tyrell bands together. Levalle's might want to hang out with Patrek Florent.

Ser Daeron takes his spot next to Ser Aemon Flowers, ready to carve a path across the field to whatever Merryweather knight his half-brother decided to confront first.
Will assist with any Leader of Men rolls as needed.

Post by Trystane Sand on Jul 1, 2019 20:18:10 GMT 1
Ser Trystane begins beside his relatives in the Starkwood contingent, though he does not intend to stick close to them the whole time. Having been asked to not let Symon get too close to certain individuals, he had been persuaded not to insist on leading the group, ceding that role to Aerion. He eyes the various team placements, mentally calculating his route to his target. Hopefully, the two younger Daverhyl brothers are going to take care of Eoric for him before he has to get anywhere near him, but he knows he must be prepared for them failing and having to try again himself. He wants to focus on helping Ser Daeron get to Rennifer, though he is all too conscious that he also needs to watch out for Balon Blackbriar, as well as Eoric. His threats might have been just bluster, but best not to assume so, just in case. At least I'm better armed and armoured than I was, he thinks, patting Flint's pale neck briefly, more to encourage himself than the horse, though it did not stave off the self-doubting voice in the back of his mind. Just survive. That's the important part. If Eoric doesn't die, it's not the end of the world. Laena will be angry, and you'll be angry too, but your life is worth more than his, and there will be other chances. You keep fucking up because you're too hasty and eager to prove yourself. Ser Owyn would say as much if he'd seen you over the last few months. If you're worrying about it the whole time, you'll be distracted and hesitant. Just do what you can and hope the Gods favour you. With that, he offers up a silent prayer; Warrior, guide my hand true to its target. Smith, let my armour keep me safe. Stranger, take that foul toad Eoric Applehouse into your fold this day.[Starting off broadly in team Starkwood, but will peel off to engage Eoric and/or Rennifer. Will assist Starkwoods and friendly brothers if called for.]

Mikel had received an invitation from the Redwyne family to join them in the melee for his actions at the Black Tournament in regards to Ser Simon Tarly. He was honored to accept, having taken a liking to Ser Parmen and as familiar with any Knight in the Reach with the reputation of the Redwyne family.
[Mikel is riding with the Redwynes, Redtusk as Captain.]
Mikel will assist Redtusk:
Persuasion +1 Status +1 Warfare +2
[2.5 Melee Scene 0] Warfare v. TN 9 "To Win'': 4d6 12 1 DoS towards warfare tests involving this goal

Addam begrudgingly took his spot next to Lord Willem. What was suppose to be an answer to insults given, had turned into a play for glory in the name of chivalry.

Thaddeus and the knights of House Levalle will take place by the Florents and their Champion (unless Patrek being part of the same team as Normyn makes this impossible). If opportunity arises Ser Normyn or his bastard son will be targeted to teach them not to fuck with the Fox.

Post by Aerion Flowers on Jul 13, 2019 6:14:47 GMT 1
Aerion is not as committed to the melee as he is the joust. Knowing that there is a lot of bad blood boiling over, he opts to lead a group of men to try and keep things civil. Ultimately though, his goal is of course, to win. He happens to run into his friend Ser Willas Tyrell. After a quick conversation to catch up, they come to the topic of the melee. Both of them wanting to quell some of the explosive bad blood that's ready to boil, it's decided that the two Tyrells will join his Starkwood team for the upcoming battle. Leader of MenMelee - Persuasion (Command) + Chivalry vs. TN 12: 5d6k4+7 27 - 4 DoS Melee - Status (Reputation) + Chivalry vs. TN 12: 6d6k4+8 23 - 3 DoS Melee - Warfare (Tournaments) vs. TN 9: 5d6k2 12 - 1 DoSTotal DoS: 8Would like a 5 DoS and a 3 DoS NPC's. Do not care so much who they are, but preferably people who don't have a grudge to settle today. Wouldn't mind doing some damage to Lord Eldon's men if the chance arises though. Priorities:Melee - Warfare (Strategy) vs. TN 9: 3d6k2 8 - Simple FailureProud:Leader of Men Proud vs. TN 13: 5d6k3 14 - SuccessAccording to Father, that gives 10 DoS. So looks like I'm able to get the Tyrells to join us at House Starkwood.
