Lady Alys may now bear the name of Redwyne, but she was no pretty wallflower overshadowed as the ladies of the Arbor were by the much regarded knights making that island their home. She had been born a Levalle, and knows many ways to get her way, far too many ways not to send any husband used to the more relaxed and carefree mannerisms of the castle overlooking the vineyards. Any sister of Thaddeus and Imry would have to grow up quickly, and learn to rely on the other sister to watch her back. Now Ellyn needed Alys to watch her back, and the way Alys reckoned, Parmen owed her debts of such magnitude that he could only hope to cover the interests, paying down the principal? Ha, ha, ha, no! Live at The Tear for too long and one were like to start thinking in such a fashion.
Can do intrigue, but in short she wants to enlist Parmen to help produce a suitor for Ellyn that Alliser will find a suitably good match to stop the nasty plans of sleazy Thaddeus to marry her to Eldon.

Parmen detested Lord Eldon, was fond of Ellyn, thought that a marriage to the only House even more disliked than House Levalle was disadvantageous, and was wracked by guilt over his indiscretions. It did not take much persuading to convince him to help Alys find a more suitable suitor for Ellyn than the Mountain-of-Shit-That-Rides. Once he made the decision, however he found himself at a loss for what to do next. His own courtship of Alys had largely consisted of hearing about a tourney and then hitting knights in the head with his sword. That experience would probably not be of much use here. He began working up a list in his head of young knights and lordlings who would be a good husband for Ellyn and could make useful allies for Lord Alliser and House Levalle. {P2}Calling in favors: Knowledge: Eligible Bachelors: 3d6 10 {Cunning may be more appropriate here. The number of dice are the same} {OOC: Not so sure about the Ladies of House Redwyne being pretty wallflowers. Isn't the Queen of Thorns a Redwyne?}

Parmen struggles to think of any names that had not already been mentioned around Lord Alliser's table, and Ellyn had her own list of favorites, Lord Durwell on top of of course, but that would be a game with far too fierce a competition, there are Ser Symon Tarly and Ser Olyvar Crane, neither would be Ellyn's first choice, but when Lord Eldon happens to be the first choice of their father and brother, either man becomes very agreeable. Alys does not repeat Ser Symon's name in any discussion about Parmen's task. A Florent perhaps, such as Ser Patrek or young Peter who soon should come of age. Ser Abelar Hightower seems the candidate easiest to sway Lord Alliser towards take the chance to get as son-in-law if so offered, especially if The House might help ensure that he gains the regency of Oldtown. Ser Sebaston Rowan would also be very agreeable.
As of yet unborn.
