Lynesse sought more information on the recent attempt on Ser Roland’s life, a man who carried her favour, and had earned her respect as a gallant knight. The cloak she bore was nondescript, carrying no insignia, and of a respectable, modest cut common to a woman of the lesser nobility or established merchant class. A stableboy had likely been used to deliver the poison. With news of the attempt made public, it seemed probable that the patsy, and potential witness, would likely be removed from the scene of the crime, either geographically or through more permanent means. Perhaps the absence would be noted by those who did not realise its significance. Basilisk Blood was a rare commodity, but accessible enough to the wealthy lords in attendance. Still, there was the possibility that whoever had sought to use it against Ser Roland had not brought their own doses with them to the tourney, and had relied on local talent to procure it. Bobbing for Apples - Disguise: 4d6 12[can reroll as blend-in, if that is better suited] Bobbing for Apples - Stableboy Streetwise: 5d6k4 21Inquire into the sudden absence of young male retainers at the tourney, with a preference to those houses that had faced Ser Roland in the joust, or were likely to do so in the next few rounds. Bobbing for Apples - Basilisk Blood Streetwise: 5d6k4 13Inquire into basilisk blood and those at the tourney able to procure it on short notice at the tourney.

There isn't much to learn, no retainers have gone missing, suggesting it wasn't a retainer at all. Nobody appears to know anything about where Basilisk Blood might be acquired.
Nice roll, but stableboy was mostly covered by the one in bad apple.
