Just an opinion, and despite being involved in the scene I would hope its an objective one, but Robyn finding her wouldnt his course of action: Telling Davos and Mikel, Davos's distraction while Mikel Robyn and Robyn find the Footlys;
Have the initiative so to say?

So it seems to me that the active plot threads are these: -Robyn&co went to see Lord Footly. -Davos went to see Walgrave. -Balon went to see Walgrave.
I'm not sure about initiative...maybe whatever works best for weaving my post together. There'll probably be some chance tests if it's relevant for who reaches this and that location first and that sort of thing (Robyn should have the odds tilted his way for getting back to Wenda first since he knows where to go), Balon/Davos going first probably isn't too relevant to how it all ends, so Davos getting in his say first shouldn't be an issue I think.
May be a call for some cunning (logic) or something, will have a look later.

I might also cut out some of the possibly explosive stuff from Phase 4, had another little tale like the Appleton affair in mind, different type of story, but same event structure, might cut it because I really want to show off the jousting format I cooked up for chronicle 2 sooner rather than later.
Managed to construct a format that would allow all the things that happened at Harrenhaal by various recollections in the book to take place, including throwing in something loosely inspired by the knight of the laughing tree. Also tossed in a nice little nod to the wheel of time series in a way that I think would be a very fun detail.
The Appleton stuff, btw, is loosely inspired on a little plotline from one of my earliest forays into SIFRP run by Coldwind (aka Gamer Gig), I was combing mythweavers for his stories to find inspiration, and I guess I stole a lot in this case (but this tale happens after the characters have been thoroughly introduced, or hoped to have done so using the Trystane interrupts Marq Warren bullying Wenda)

I'm not good at Event design but there could be a couple different components/tests.
Chance.
Agility (Quickness) or Athletics as if it's a foot race.
Awareness (Notice) or Cunning (Logic) to find the most likely hiding spots or follow a suspect.
Walgrave could demand the castle gates closed and the Footlys and Co. could try Stealth, Disguise, or something like that to get out.
Hell if they escape I could see Walgrave organize a search/hunting party. Lots of options for this to get out of hand.

Good list. I think for raw speed Athletics(run) makes the most sense - quickness is more a matter of reaction time than speed.

I'm at work right now and couldn't remember if Running was a specialty but I definitely agree that's more applicable.
Of course what idiot would take running or swimming... lol

Run is actually really good for maintaining move speed with high bulk.

Or swimming so Balon and Ashara can have nice afternoon talks along the Mander.
Iirc I took swimming so Balon wouldn't instantly die in the event there was some sort of naval engagement and he went overboard. Who'd thunk it'd come into play like it did.

I did think hard about putting in uses for not commonly taken specialties for chronicle 1.

Second "sneak-start" of Phase 4 stuff out, I may or may not throw in anything big.
Have this idea that I want to run with, which probably works best if just one or two PC's gets to take part (since having all involved will get real messy), hence the event design intended to "split the party".

Spending a Destiny Point allows you to attend two events, and you may participate beyond act 1 of both regardless of when your presence was declared. I have to say, despite not having any DP myself, I do rather like this idea. Given how rare they are, giving extra DP options like this does help a bit with boosting their power.

At Squirrel Hall, it is those who would flock under the black dragon's banner who finds cause to gather as Ser Varids Wythers and Lady Perianne Middlebury are to say their vows before the gods, though the attendance is smaller than expected because nobody particularly likes Lord Middlebury, at least not among those who does not share his hatred of all things Dorne. -Notable participants: Lady Shiera Blackbriar. Damn bro, Balon is gone for a few months and Lord Gareth goes from a YES! in the Wedding Event to selling Perianne off to House Wythers. Don't get me wrong she is a solid Plan C but still. lol

Here’s Balon’s chance to crash the wedding and win her back.
