Mostly an episode on the forum where he asked for some feedback and concluded that things were the way he wanted them to be. That conclusion being dead wrong, he just read the first couple of posts, which were from the usual clueless suspects and backed up with zero evidence, as opposed to me and a couple of the ones on that forum who actually know this stuff showing why it didn't work that way. Dropping AP does seem like a reasonable fix. Thanks. That's massively frustrating. What a shame. I think it's a refreshing and flexible system and only needs a few tweaks to really sing. At least you and others tried.

Walgrave Oakheart disposition towards Robyn is now -5 (This includes being a filthy half-breed, aligned against him in the grand scheme of things...and humiliating his knight), the actual duel is not going to be very interesting unless you plan on Robyn messing him up, (fair) fights against NPC's I haven't named tends to be rather one-sided. To Maul, or not to Maul, that is the question...

Probably maul some innocent NPC. And then fall off his horse. Look, we're now at the stage where the fans expect that. Can't have them leaving disapponted.

He fought dismounted at Battle Valley, maybe he learned.

He fought dismounted at Battle Valley, maybe he learned. Yeah, learned to not fight the Roughneck in a battle that favors his strengths. Anyway, he falls from his horse and then mauls enemies.

Robyn hears what sounds like a woman sobbing just around the corner[...].
Robyn could walk by [...], but odds are that is what some other PC would be inclined to do. Laena sneezes elegantly into a handkerchief, then looks around, wondering what brought that on...

Blackwood right: 5 points for victory, 6 points for enemy condition (Tested, Bloodied). Bracken left: 9 points for enemy condition (Tested, Bloodied, Disorganized). Shouldn't it be 14 for Blackwood, as both sides were Disorganized (pending Hero actions, ofc) I think it was because of Oakheart calling for a retreat, which improved the condition of the army by one, as seen here -Instead of making the start of round warfare tests, a commander may order his army to retreat, this is a warfare (Command) test with a TN of 3 per step it's condition has worsened from unscathed, on a success it's condition improves by one step as it withdraws in good order.

Ah, I missed that retreat increased condition by one. Thanks!

If Laena's number came up, I probably would have put the girl directly in her field of vision to make just walking by be an explicitly cruel thing to do like the priest and levite.
Robyn not being gallant seemed much more unlikely, so just went for a quick post, with Laena I'd probably do a longer one because it might be the only one for act 2.
Biggest chance for this going to unexpected places would have been if someone with prejudiced (Dorne), or a Levalle (or Laena not walking past) with a mind to turn the situation into a political advantage of some sort.

Huh. With those comments, I was pretty confident it would turn out to be Lady Alena Flowers. So much for my predictive abilities!

Some of this stuff is so old that there were a couple of Levalle's around at the time that might try to figure out how they could profit from the situation.
