The rumors he'd heard disturbed him, but he couldn't do anything about them, not on his own. Daeron had heard that Dornish bandits and raiders were gathering in the Red Mountains under the banner of a new Vulture King to take advantage of the instability in the Realm. He didn't know how long it would take before they took their raiding into the Reach, presumably supported by vindictive Dornish lords. There was a man though who would take this threat seriously, had the resources to deal with the raiders, and who was battle-tested, Lord Walgrave Oakheart. House Starling historically had stood with House Oakheart when they were both petty kings of a land not yet united by Aegon the Conqueror, and he had hoped to breathe life into the old alliance by alerting him of this impending threat. He couldn't lead Starling knights to battle in the Marches, but he could at least do his part. Vulture King-Meet Lord Walgrave: 6d6k4+6 23

Lord Walgrave is only happy to receive such a firm and esteemed supporter of the one true king.

Offering the lord a respectful bow, Ser Daeron is direct and to the point, relating what he himself had discovered.
"My lord, thank you for receiving me. I have learned through several friends and connections that Dornish raiders and bandits have begun to gather once more in the Red Mountains under yet another Vulture King." Gesturing broadly at the various tents decorating the pavilion at the tourney grounds he emphasizes his point. "I thought to tell more, but I have no illusions that most of these summer knights and men who play at war are capable of dealing with these raiders when they come; however, you took part in the Conquest and the Battle at Prince's Pass and you know what to expect when these partisans finally strike.
Now I don't know if this assembly is coincidental or if they're gathering to take advantage of the weakness in the Reach, but it is likely that they are relying on the lords of Dorne and maybe even the King himself to turn a blind eye to their actions, otherwise banners would have already been raised, as I find it unlikely that I've uncovered secrets that even the Master of Whispers himself could not. Moreover, now that the Reach has been infiltrated with Dornish brides and soldiers, this new Vulture King might find it easy to gather the information he needs for his raids.
If you can confirm these rumors and strike down these bandits, I believe that more of the Reach will rally to our cause. A successful campaign will remind the Reach the dangers that lay just beyond those mountains and reveal the King's complicity in undermining his own people to appease his new friends."

That sounds quite like the Dornish, and one must remember who the not-so-kingly-king had married and whom he surrounds himself with. Lord Walgrave resolves at once to gather such knights and their men as would join him in the extermination of such filth.

He gives another bow.
“Many thanks my lord. It is only my desire to serve the best interests of the Realm and its innocents, no matter who sits on the Iron Throne. I look forward to your call to arms, and I hope that Kingsbridge stands with Old Oak as in the days of old.”
