Continuation from here: greatbastards.boards.net/post/18022Balon was close to the semi-finals but he had encountered his toughest foe yet. Whoever it was if he hadn't learned about him from the Black Tourney was he really worth knowing about? Ser Aerion Flowers had made it until the sixth round at Highgarden before being bested by Ser Preston Oakheart and thus fell out in the final 32, by Balon's reckoning, this should be an even pairing.

He didn't blame him. He'd do the same if someone was as forward with Delia. But Balon was Balon and Laena was Laena. She wanted it and it was only a matter of time before she gave in. Then Aerion would be really mad. Balon laughed as he rode down lane to meet his foe. He didn't even care if he won at this point. The Beast of Blackbriar had made his cousins' lives hell at the Black Tourney and had even tried to seduce his sister. There would be no greater honor then putting this dog down. Aerion prayed to the warrior to to guide his lance true, and as the dust settled, Aerion had remained on his mount while Balon lied in the dirt,

Both lances struck their opponent but only Balon fell to the ground. He rolled to a stop and laid motionless for a moment. A tourney attendant rushed towards Balon and could see he was convulsing slightly and making some kind of sound. He turned to signal for the maester before he realized what was happening. Balon was laughing. He was laughing so hard he was shaking.
He slowly sat upright and removed his helm. Balon was upset that he'd been unhorsed but the emotion from Aerion was palpable to the point of absurdity. Was he angry about Laena? The threat of violence against the Starkwoods? Something else? It didn't matter. All Balon wanted to do was now was stir the pot. He stood up as Aerion rode his horse down the lane to where Balon was. "Well fought bastard. You do your mentor proud." The praise was loud enough for the crowd to hear. Balon then spoke much quieter, "Of course now I'm going to fuck your sister until her cunny explodes." By the Gods I enjoy being an asshole sometimes.
Will update main thread.

Aerion probably knows his sister well enough not to care about that statement, quipping right back that Balon is sadly mistaken if he thinks a Dragon would take a loser into her bed out of pity. Then following up the parry with a riposte suggesting that Lady Delia would simply love to hear all about this humiliation, though whether he knows her that well, or just hits the truth by happenstance, who can say? But surely they would have spoken at Highgarden, Aerion does not seem the shy sort, and Delia had ever been talkative.

Instead of getting angry Balon laughed. "You'll make a fine uncle to our children." he retorted. Balon ignored the Delia comment. She'd harass him regardless of how well he did and he liked their verbal sparring. Mostly.
"Come by my pavilion later today and we'll settle up on the ransom. If you're not a little maid you'll stick around for some good ale." Balon was an asshole but paradoxically he was really good at making friends with other knights.
